Kankan De Ohle (Punjabi: ਕਣਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਓਹਲੇ) is a 1971 Punjabi film directed by Omi Bedi, starring Ravinder Kapoor, Indira, Jeevan, Uma Dutt, Mumtaz Begum and others with the guest appearance of Dharmendra and Asha Parekh. Sapan Jagmohan is the music director and the playback singers include Mohammad Rafi, Asha Bhosle, Usha Timothy, Bhupinder and Balbir.
Synopsis
Kankan De Ohle depicts a test of will and honesty of a person, Chaudhary, who takes on an identity of a bandit in order save the marriage of his friend's daughter, and is sent to jail. Taking him to be wrong, the villagers throw out his wife and son, Madan. Madan grows up without knowing his father and becomes the darling of the little village. He determined to free the villagers from an evil money-lender, Ramu Shah, and for this he seeks help from his friend Banta Singh.Acteurs

Ashok Tandon (Dharmendra) is a bank manager, and is in love with Deepa (Raakhee), and both are to be married soon. However, Ashok is arrested for theft from the bank. He asks Deepa to look after his mom (Leela Chitnis), which she agrees to do. He is sentenced to prison for several years. After his release he finds out that his mother has died; Deepa is married and has re-located; and he was framed by his colleagues at the bank. Devastated but still honest, he is befriended by Raja Ranbir Singh, who gives him a job, as well a new identity. Ashok now becomes Bikram Singh, and he must seek out Deepa, and his shrewd and calculating colleagues at the bank to extract vengeance.

Avinash (Sanjay Dutt) and his parents (Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Asha Parekhich) come to Bombay where they miserably scrape along. Wealthy Jaishankar meets and falls in love with Aarti, successfully woos her and agrees to meet with her dad to discuss their marriage.
