Kushi Kushiga (English: Happy Happily) is a 2004 Telugu film produced by Adityaram on Adityaram Movies banner, directed by G.Ram Prasad. Starring Jagapati Babu, Ramya Krishna, Sangeetha, Nikita Thukral, Venu Thottempudi in lead roles and music composed by S A Rajkumar. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film Chronic Bachelor. The film recorded as Above Average at box-office. It was remade in tamil as Engal Anna the same year.
Synopsis
The story of this film is so complicated that it cannot be written in brief. Anyhow here is an effort to condense it into few words. Surya Prakash / SP (Jagapati Babu) is a chronic bachelor. He hates love and girls. He has a nemesis called Bhavani (Ramya Krishna). He wins a court case against Bhavani that entitles him of a fortune left by his deceased father. Misro (Charan Raj) is a dacoit SP Chakravarthy (Sarath Babu) arrests him. Misro wounds himself and is taken to hospital for cure, where Chakravarthy is waiting for his wife Geeta (Sangeetha) who is on labor and she gives birth to twins and the doctor says that both children have reflection mentality, that means "if it pains to one other also hurts" depending on distance. Misro escapes and takes one of the twins with him, hurting Geeta. Chakravarthy goes behind him, but he could not find the child but shoots Misro. The child was taken by a lady who works as a daily labor with her husband. They have a daughter and one day in an accident at construction place were killed. The two children become orphans and they grew up, but the brother Deva (Nagarjuna) with his friend Kaasi another orphan (Brahmanandam) become thieves for earning. On the other hand, Geetha goes into coma and Chakravarthy takes her to America for the cure, where another twin Ravi Varma (also Nagarjuna) is brought up. He returns India as a rock start to give performances here. He is received by Giribabu (Chakravarthy's friend) who wishes to give his daughter Manga (Ramya Krishna) to him. But Ramya is in love with Deva. In the airport, he sees Ooha (Soundarya) daughter of Akkamanba (Annapurna) who is organizing his public performances and falls in love with her. Simhachalam (Srihari) who is Akkamanba's brother also wishes to marry Ooha. Meanwhile at home Manga advances with him thinking he is Deva only. One day in a restaurant they see each other and find that they are identical which leads to hilarious misunderstandings.

Padmanabham (Jagapati Babu) is a miser who does anything to save money, because When he was a young boy, Padmanabham was driven out of his house along with his parents by an evil-hearted money lender (Tanikella Bharani), who gave him a condition: if by a stipulated time period Padmanabham could raise enough money to buy back the house he could reclaim it as his own. Ramya (Ramya Krishna) not only likes him, she also falls deeply in love with him. Padmanabham doesn't want to do anything with her, but when Ramya suggests that two salaries are better than one, he thinks it's a brilliant idea and marries her.
