Synopsis
Un savant américain a mis au point un appareil qui permet de transporter des objets dans une autre dimension. Lors d'une expérience, Carrie Madison, journaliste à la télévision, et Dan Roebuck, un électricien, se trouvent soudain projetés dans un univers du futur, un monde étrange et hostile nommé Vonya. Un être brutal règne sur Vonya. Il s'appelle Kleel le Warlord, et domine la planète grâce à sa "magie", deux simples revolvers. Carrie est enlevée par Kleel, qui veut en faire sa deuxième femme. Pour la délivrer, Dan Roebuck va traverser d'incroyables aventures.Acteurs

In the year of 1193, Richard the "Lionheart", King of England, led the third Great Crusade to reclaim the Holy Land from the Turks. After the battle, on their return home to England, Richard and his Knights are captured by the forces of Austria's Emperor, and held prisoners of war in the castle of Austria. In the castle dungeon, the knights are being tortured to tell the Austrians the location of King Richard's treasure. But the knights reply "there is no treasure". The guards don't believe them. Then one of the English knights, Tancred, tells the head-guard that they do have one treasure that all of England will pay for - "King Richard" himself! The head-guard understands what he means - "a ransom". Tancred agrees to return to England, to collect the ransom, telling the guard that Richard's brother Prince John will pay dearly for the king's freedom. The guard orders Tancred to tell the prince to raise "100,000 gold crowns", he tells him that when the Austrians have them, King Richard and his Knights will be free and have their passage home. He gives Tancred three months, if he didn't get the ransom in time, the Austrians would start killing his fellow knights. Of course, the knight chained close to Tancred believed the part about Prince John paying for King Richard's ransom to be false. The knight's name - Ivanhoe! As the guards were releasing Tancred to return to England, and looking the other way, Ivanhoe saw a sword close to him, kicked it into the air, and grabbed it. The head-guard looked back, and rushed over to Ivanhoe, but he stabbed him, and freed himself. One of the other knights told Ivanhoe release him too. But the other knights warned Ivanhoe of the guards coming. As the two knights fought their way out, they said that Prince John will never pay Richard's ransom, and that Tancred will betray them all. Then one of the guards held a cross-bow, and shot the brave knight in the chest. He told Ivanhoe, "King Richard must be ransomed! England must be saved! Go, Ivanhoe! Go!" So, Ivanhoe killed the guard, and ran out the door.

Dr. Eric Norris remains wracked with guilt after a terrible tragedy that cost him his family, and when he learns that an alien parasite is not only growing inside him but shares his DNA, he develops a fiercely paternal bond with the creature. The alien "might regenerate into a surrogate son to replace his own child who was lost years earlier." Koenig plays the antagonist, a scientific research institute administrator who dislikes Norris because he had been mutually in love with Norris's wife, who died; he blames Norris for his own now bleak life and enjoys insulting him. Norris, new love interest Amanda, and attorney Howard Ellis must defend the new child, Benjamin, from being imprisoned by government forces or, worse, destroyed. The courtroom trial covers such issues as habeas corpus and miscegenation.

Les agriculteurs de la pacifique planète Akir (ainsi nommée en l'honneur des Sept Samouraïs d'Akira Kurosawa) sont menacés par le tyran Sador et son armée de mutants Malmoris. L'immense navire de Sador porte une arme appelée « Convertisseur stellaire », qui transforme les planètes en petits soleils, détruisant toute vie sur leur surface. Il menace d'utiliser le convertisseur sur la planète à moins que le peuple d'Akir ne se soumette à lui quand il retournera sur Akir dans quelques jours. Zed, le dernier guerrier Akirain, désormais vieux et aveugle, suggère qu'ils recrutent des mercenaires pour protéger la planète. Faute de ressources précieuses sur Akir, son peuple ne peut offrir pour paiement que de la nourriture et un abri. Zed offre son navire, Nell, à condition de trouver un pilote. Un jeune homme nommé Shad se propose de partir recruter des mercenaires. Shad prend son envol sans savoir que Sador a laissé un petit vaisseau derrière lui pour surveiller la planète. Les mutants Malmoris Kalo et Tembo poursuivent Shad, mais le jeune homme leur échappe.
