It was produced by KS Sreenivasan's Vaasan Visual Ventures. The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. Ravi played a revolutionist for a social cause. The film, which was simultaneously made in Telugu as Janda Pai Kapiraju with Nani in place of Jayam Ravi, released on 8 March 2014 and received mostly positive reviews.
Synopsis
Aravindan Sivasamy (Jayam Ravi) is a 26-year-old youth who was brought up in an ashram run by a Harichandra (Nassar). The atmosphere that he grew, taught him high moral values, disciplines, dignity, devotion etc. But when he comes out of the place, his belief and learning will be questioned by the cancerous system. It unsettles him and make him fight against the immoral cultures of the society. He decides to taken on corrupt bureaucrats and his friend (Soori), a lawyer (Subbu Panchu) and journalist (C. Gopinath) along with his girlfriend (Amala Paul) join him in his mission to fight against the corruption.Acteurs

Arvind who came to the city from a rural area, is a naive employee in a company. He cannot tolerate corruption, bribert, breaking rules, lavishness and the urban culture of youth in cities. He is caught by traffic police for a minor mistake through not of his own. Although he has all documents with him, he is asked a bribe by traffic policeman. When he refuses to pay the bribe, a complaint is booked against him and he is sentenced by the court, even though he complains about the bribe.

Naattamai (Sarathkumar) is a very kind-hearted, disciplined man. He sits on the ancestral throne in his village to do justice (similar to panchayat). He hears all the cases and gives solutions and punishments to the wrong-doers. His wife, Khushboo admires and respects him a lot. His brothers Pasupathi (sarathkumar) and Raja Ravindra fear for him and also have a lot of respect for him as he has brought them up as his children. The young Sarathkumar marries Meena, daughter of an industrialist. She at first never liked Naatamai and her husband for being so timid before his brother but later transforms after knowing his greatness from her father.Raja Ravindra loves his paternal cousin(Ponnambalam)'s daughter (Sanghavi). In the flashback, Periya Naatamai(Vijayakumar) father of naatamai orders Ponnambalam to marry his servant's daughter whom he raped, though he is his sister's son. His brother-in-law shoots at him as he is disappointed by his verdict.Enraged Periya Naatamai gives his final verdict before dying to abandon their family and whoever visits his house will receive the same punishment and also not to share even a glass of water with them. Ponnambalam from then builds envy on his uncle's family and waits for an opportunity to take revenge on them. He plans to bring a lady (Subhashri) as a teacher to the school in the village and tells her to make young Sarathkumar fall for her. She does so to save her father who is in the hands of Ponnambalam. He kills her and makes the villagers believe that Sarathkumar has done this. Naatamai sentences 10 years of exile for his brother's family. Now Ponnambalam comes to know of his daughter's love and tries to kill Raja Ravindra with the help of his goons. Sarathkumar goes in rescue of him and pregnant Meena goes to Naatamai to convey this message. Manorama rushes to Nattamai and reveals the truth and tells that he punished his brother without committing any mistake. Naatamai takes revenge on Ponnambalam and dies on knowing that he gave a wrong verdict. Now younger Sarathkumar is shown taking the ancestral throne from his brother.

Hasmukh Rai (Kader Khan) has a problem. As a matter of fact, two problems — his two sons: Munnu (Chunky Pandey) and Bunnu (Govinda Ahuja). La vie de Tom Mullen est bouleversée le jour où son fils est enlevé. Très vite, les ravisseurs demandent une rançon... Au début, il est prêt à payer jusqu'au jour où il réalise que ces ravisseurs n'ont pas l'intention de rendre le petit vivant, devenu désormais un témoin gênant. Il tente son ultime carte : il annonce au monde entier (et aux ravisseurs) qu'il ne leur donnera rien et qu'avec la rançon, qu'il étale devant lui, il met désormais leur tête à prix jusqu'à ce que son fils lui soit rendu. Il ajoute devant les caméras être serein à ce sujet, les ravisseurs ne faisant pas partie d'un milieu dont l'intégrité soit la plus grande caractéristique. Dans la réalité et hors caméras, le stress de la situation le ronge pourtant. Cette méthode inattendue porte cependant vite ses fruits car les ravisseurs - dirigés par un policier véreux, James Shaker - commencent eux-mêmes à paniquer, à se soupçonner et à se diviser.
