Rasheed (Lal) is an NRI working in the Gulf. He comes to his hometown Kozhikode on a vacation for his daughter's engagement. Rasheed has invested in a commercial property next to his house which he has let out to store owners, except for one room. During his holiday, he meets his friends here and they bond every night over a few peg of drinks. During one of these days, Rashid's friend Nanmarayil Suran (Vinay Forrt), an autorickshaw driver, locks him with a prostitute in a garage from the outside to let the two have some fun. He fails to turn up as promised and the two end up spending two nights and one day together in the garage. The rest of the narrative revolves around the embarrassing plight of these two and the lives of Suran, Thankam and Manoharan.

The film starts with a message "The aged aren't always wise, nor do the elderly always understand justice" Job 32:9. The story is narrated by the communist leader (TG Ravi) who witnessed it. The story is set in 1900 in Munnar in British occupied India. Harrison is a British businessman who comes to Munnar to cultivate tea. Harrison finds an able boy amidst his workers and names him 'Iyob'(Job). Harrison holds Iyob close and helps him get married to Annamma (Reenu Mathews). Harrison's wife leaves him, later he sees Kazhali (Lena) and becomes interested in her. When he finds out Kazhali's relation with Thacho, one of his servants. Iyob kills Thacho after Harrison order him to. Afterwards, Harrison takes Kazhali as his mistress and she becomes pregnant. In the time of the First World War, Harrison's business gets affected and he leaves for Britain but dies on the way. Knowing this Iyob throws Kazhali out of the house and takes over all assets of Harrison.

The film begins with Police Officer Jeevan(Biju Menon) taking charge of Mangalore city Police. He learns from his suboridinate Sudhakaran Nair(Sadiq) that the city is still ruled by underworld don Govindji (Thilakan). Navaneeth Krishnan a.k.a. Kishanji (Suresh Gopi) is Govindji's lead henchman. Govindji acts as a sort of Godfather to him. Kishan has a face-off with Jeevan and Jeevan gets injured in the fight. Jeevan later is surprised to see Kishan during a train journey but it turns out that it is Ananthakrishnan a.k.a. Ananthu (Suresh Gopi), Kishan's identical twin; who unlike Kishan is a well educated and righteous person. Jeevan visits their family home in Kerala to confirm the facts. He learns that Kishan, despite being from a well-off family and being topper at school, ran off during his teenage and joined the gangs of Mangalore owing to a punishing father(Narendra Prasad). Jeevan also meets Kishen's uncle(Nedumudi Venu) and his daughter Manikkutty(Lena) who is Ananthu's fiancee.

Kalidasan (Lal) works in the state archaeological department in Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) and is a food lover. His only companion is his cook, Babu (Baburaj). Manu Raghav (Asif Ali) is Kalidasan's nephew who comes to stay with him, while looking for a job. The film narrates the incidents in the life of a gynaecologist and five women who come into his life each with unconventional/illegitimate pregnancies. Lal acts as the gynaecologist and Asha Sharreth does the role of doctor's wife. Sanusha plays the role of an eighteen-year-old girl who refuses to abort her child and reveal the child's father. In the end, she gives her baby to the gynaecologist and his wife who don't have children of their own. After some months, she visits the doctor's house and leaves him a book. And from reading one of the story in the book that she specially marked he figures out that she bore the child of her father. Rima's character is a nurse, while Geetha plays an elderly woman who gets pregnant through artificial insemination. Aju Varghese appears as Ajmal who has strong feelings for Fatima. However, due to their height difference, he is unable to confide his love for her. Sandra Thomas plays the role of another expectant woman who bears her boyfriend's child which she wants to conceive only if her husband dies and Joy Mathew acts as her husband.

Radhakrishnan (Dileep) is dysfunctionally brought up like a girl by his grandmother (Sukumari) who wanted a granddaughter. There by, he becomes effeminate and milquetoast.
