Poshter Boyz is a 2014 Indian Marathi language comedy film directed by Sameer Patil and written by Sameer Patil and Charudatta Bhagwat. The movie stars Dilip Prabhavalkar, Hrishikesh Joshi, Aniket Vishvasrao in lead roles and Pooja Sawant, Neha Joshi in female lead cast. The film was produced by Shreyas Talpade. This is the second movie produced by Shreyas Talpade under his home production Affluence Movies Private Limited after Sanai Choughade. The film is released in theatres on 1 August 2014. The film is going to remade in telugu as 'Poshter Boyz' director will be Gopi Ganesh and presented by Akshay Kumar and Rana Daggubati.

The movie begins with three friends Sameer (Shreyas Talpade), Ravi (Abhiram Bhadkamkar) and Bharat (Bharat Jadhav) who arrive in a Osadwadi, a small village. They are working in a bank and have been transferred to this village branch. Any new transferees that arrive are routinely made to stay in a wada, till they find alternate arrangements. The wada was incidentally mortgaged to the bank and hence any new transferees that arrive are routinely made to stay in this wada till they can find alternate arrangements. Many transferee's had left the job and left the village due to strange things happening in the wada.

Subhash Nagare (Amitabh Bachchan) est le chef d’un petit village du Maharashtra. Il est le Sarkar : il est extrêmement respecté et craint par la population locale. À la tête de Sheppard Power, multinationale spécialisée dans la production d'énergie, elle soutient le projet de la construction d'une centrale électrique en pleine zone rurale. Shankar prend rapidement conscience des avantages que la centrale pourrait apporter à la population. Seul inconvénient : le projet nécessite un déplacement d’une part importante de la population. Après avoir convaincu Sarkar qui était contre le projet, Shankar entreprend un voyage avec Anita jusque dans les villages du Maharashtra pour convaincre les habitants. Cependant, l’entreprise de Shankar se heurte à de multiples obstacles et devient progressivement un champ de mines politique. Le régime de Sarkar est affaibli et le nom de Shankar est effacé de l'horizon politique.

Three friends - Bhavesh (Shreyas Talpade), Parag (Javed Jaffrey) and Pariksheet (Aashish Chaudhary) live in Pattaya, as paying guests in a house owned by Kiska Miglani (Asrani). Bhavesh works as a chef in a restaurant called Namaste India, owned by Ballu Singh (Johnny Lever). Ballu has a younger brother, Ronnie (Chunky Pandey), who wants ownership the restaurant, because he owes a considerable amount of money to a gangster, Murli (Inder Kumar). Parag is a screen writer for a television channel and Parikshit is a car salesman working for Aarti Gupta (Neha Dhupia). Eventually all three of them lose their jobs. The three friends are later joined by Jayesh (Vatsal Seth) from Mumbai, who is a cousin of Parikshit's, and tells them that an apartment is included if he gets a job at an architecture firm. After getting drunk celebrating Jayesh's arrival, they privately insult Kiska, who arrives back home unexpectedly, hears what they are saying and kicks them out. They go out in search of a place to stay and a friend of Parikshit's suggests paid lodgings. Parikshit and Jayesh go to the home to find its owner is Ballu Singh, to whom they are oblivious of the fact that he is Bhavesh's former employer. Ballu and his wife, Sweety (Delnaaz Paul), agree to let them stay on one condition - they must be married.
