Synopsis
Avinash, an M.A. student, is an idealistic young man with socialist views and stern principles. He is not affected by materialistic nature of his generation and strongly opposes acquiring wealth, more than needed. He is son of a wealthy landlord but has left his father's house because of philosophical differences. He works as a part time writer to meet his daily living. He finds an admirer in Geeta, his classmate and daughter of a textile mill owner, who falls in love with him for his outlook. Geeta also leaves her father's house and get married and soon to have a child. Avinash finds it difficult to manage this extended family. Financial insecurity forces him to join a publishing house owned by his classmate Satish Shah. Soon he starts transforming into a ruthless businessman and treads the very path, once he loathed. Geeta is surprised of his easy withdrawal of principles. She decides to leave him. Avinash realizes his mistake, leaves his job and joins his ex-professor Choudhary's publishing house.Acteurs

Siddharth (Farooq Shaikh), Omi (Rakesh Bedi) and Jomo (Ravi Baswani) are close friends and room mates who are studying at Delhi University. Siddharth has completed M.A in Economics and is preparing for PhD. While Siddharth is a studious boy who loves to spend most of his time with books, his other two friends- Omi and Jomo are mostly busy chasing girls, watching movies or dramas. The only thing common among three of them is smoking. One day, Omi and Jomo see a girl (Neha) who is new to their neighborhood and try to impress her by their tricks. However, both of them give up after experiencing shameful events. After some days, Neha (Deepti Naval) visits their flat as the salesgirl of Chamko washing powder. As soon as Jomo and Omi see her, they hide quickly. Siddharth meets Neha for the first time and soon a love story begins. But when his other two friends find out, they decide to plot something to end their relationship and also to seek revenge to the embarrassment inflicted upon them by the girl. Initially, they succeed in separating Siddharth and Neha but later on repent when they realise that Siddharth has started losing his interest in work and study and is most likely to end his life as well. Finally, they decide to reunite both the lovers.

Noorie (Poonam Dhillon) lives in the Bhaderwah valleys with her father, Ghulam Nabi (Iftekhar) and her dog Khairoo, she has a boyfriend Yusuf (Farooq Shaikh), they decide to get married, the date is decided and preparations begin. But fate had something else in store. As another villager Bashir Khan (Bharat Kapoor) takes a liking to Noorie and approaches Noorie's father for her hand, to which Ghulam Nabi refuses. An angry Bashir Khan then arranges the murder of Gulam Nabi, through his men, using a falling tree. The marriage is suspended, few months later when the marriage preparations are back on, however a few days before the marriage Bashir Khan, who happens to be Yusuf's boss sends him on an errand out of town. While Yusuf is out of town Bashir Khan goes over to Noorie's house and rapes her. Noorie commits suicide and Yusuf gets to know that it all happened because of Bashir, so he runs behid him to kill him followed by Khairoo. They end up into a physial fight and Yusuf gets shot by Bashir. As Bashir runs back, he finds Khairoo there, who finally kills Bashir. Yusuf runs to the place where Noorie's body is and dies there. At the end they both are dug into the ground and unite with each other.

Kedarnath is a wealthy man with many enemies. One day, a taxi-driver, Dilip Singh, saves his life, but is killed instead. Kedarnath is grateful and is willing to look after Dilip Singh's widow and son. But his enemies find out about this, and substitute a woman named Sheela and her son, Vikram, instead. The real widow is killed by them, and her son, Jimmy, is looked after by a kind-hearted poor Con-man, Jaggu, and his son, Gulu, who make their living stealing and begging. Years later, Jimmy and Gulu have grown up but are still stealing. Jimmy, on the run from hoods, ends up in Delhi, impersonating Rakesh Rajpal, and meets with Jyoti and falls in love with her. Jyoti introduces him to her dad, none other than Kedarnath. It is here that the drama unfolds, bringing back past memories and crimes.
