Galland and Lennon also wrote the theme song, which was performed by Galland's Domino band mate Domino Kirke and her sister Jemima Kirke. Although the film's cast, with the exception of Erika Thormahlen, had no previous acting experience, Milla Jovovich and Sean Lennon make cameo appearances as "Boxheads". The film has been released on DVD.
Synopsis
Two students uncover a series of mysterious signs in otherwise normal photographs taken around New York City with an antique spoon. They determine that these are clues that depict a pathway from a train station in New York City to a seahorse in the wilderness. Kate sets off alone to follow the crumbs, which leads her to a terrifying encounter with a psychic in a decaying cottage. The psychic falls prey to the Boxheads, a mysterious and evil cult that traps victims, whose smiling photographs appear on boxes that hide the faces of the cult members. Escaping from the psychic’s cottage, Kate waltzes through the woods, taking shelter for the night in an eerie motel where she has frightening dreams and hallucinations. In one of these, a young girl falls victim to the Boxheads and disappears.Acteurs

Julian Marsh (Jake Hoffman), an unemployed young lothario, is forced by his doctor dad (Chip Zien) to accept a job directing an off-Broadway play called Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead, which is described as a weird adaptation of Hamlet. The play has been written by a mysterious, pallid Romanian named Theo Horace (John Ventimiglia), a vampire who has just killed a young woman (Bijou Phillips). Unaware of the danger that surrounds Theo’s play, Julian casts his best friend Vince (Kris Lemche) as Hamlet and uses his new job to impress his ex-girlfriend, Anna (Devon Aoki), an aspiring actress. To Julian’s dismay, Anna has taken up with a shady businessman named Bobby Bianchi (Ralph Macchio), who has reputed ties to the Mafia. When Anna is cast as Ophelia, she slowly gets involved with Theo. The roles of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern in Theo’s play are filled by Carlo (Carlos Velazquez) and Mickey (Mike Landry), two narcissistic actors as foolish as the characters they are cast to play. Opening night draws near and people begin to die. Two bumbling New York City detectives (Jeremy Sisto and Lou Carbonneau) chase suspects as the movie builds to its climactic sequence.

We went through several versions of the style, or the approach, that we were going to take. At first, we did a kind of goofy, Napoleon Dynamite sort of thing which didn't really work out. It sort of highlighted the wrong aspects of the film. Then there was another direction we went, which was a retro Italian superhero film, kind of a Barbarella direction. I really enjoyed making that music, but it didn't ground the film and it lacked gravity. Despite how silly the film is and how kind of comedic it is, it needed a certain seriousness to sort of propel the more important aspects of the narrative – you know, the parents having been killed by this bad guy and the superhero avenging the murder of his parents. It needed some grounding. That was when we sort of went with the third direction, which was kind of a straight-up action hero style– a serious, orchestrated superhero score.

Son père Amanzio s'inquiète immédiatement et sollicite l'aide du commissaire Duca Lamberti qui, habitué aux fugues de quelques heures ou de quelques jours, ne s'alarme pas plus que cela dans un premier temps et refuse d'enquêter sur cette disparition. Un mois après, toujours sans nouvelles d'elle, Amanzio réussit à le convaincre de mener une enquête avec son collègue, le brigadier Mascaranti. Leurs recherches les mènent droit à un réseau de prostitution qu'ils tentent de démanteler depuis longtemps. Il est notoire qu'au sein de ladite filière, de jeunes femmes se font kidnapper, droguer, puis sont ensuite forcées à vendre leur corps une fois battues puis accoutumées à la drogue. Mais ils doivent prouver ce qui se déroule dans ces maisons closes. La seule solution est alors d'infiltrer incognito tous les bordels de Milan afin de mener une enquête approfondie de l'intérieur avec l'aide d'une prostituée noire et d'un ancien proxénète. Mais ils retrouvent aussitôt le corps calciné de Donatella dans un champ.

Mantra’s parents die when she was young and she lives with her friend Vinny. She inherits an ancestral property called 'Mantra Nilayam' in the outskirts of Hyderabad.
