Sri Ramadasu is 2006 blockbuster Telugu devotional, biographical film, based on the life of Kancharla Gopanna, produced by Konda Krishnam Raju on Aditya Movies banner, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. Starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Sneha, Suman in the lead roles and music was composed by M. M. Keeravani, who composed 19 songs for the film. Cinematography and editing were handled by S. Gopal Reddy and Sreekar Prasad respectively.

Upon release, the film got highly positive reviews. The film's lead actor Nagarjuna received unanimous positive appreciation for his portrayal in the titular role and subsequently went on to win Nandi Award for Best Actor that year. Music director M. M. Keeravani also received rave reviews for his work. Along with being critically acclaimed, The film recorded as Blockbuster hit at box office and is considered as one of the milestones in the long-spanning career of the lead actor Nagarjuna.

Synopsis

The film starts with the penance of Sage Bhadra who becomes a hill with the blessings of Lord Rama. In later centuries, Dammakka, the tribal lady and worshiper of Lord Rama unearths and looks after the idols of Rama on the hill and awaits someone who can construct a temple there. On the other hand, Gopanna and his cousin Kamala fall in love and marry after a small conflict with their parents. After the marriage, Tanisha, the emperor of Golconda, with the recommendation of Akkanna and Madanna (the uncles of Gopanna), appoints Gopanna as Tehsildar of Husnabad. Thus, a Muslim who had been the Tehsildar to the place is dethroned for the sake of Gopanna. That ignites disgust among a few groups who attempt to murder Gopanna. However, Dammakka saves him while he lies unconscious on the bank of Godavari. She shows him the place of Bhadragiri and Gopanna becomes an ardent devotee of Rama. After a series of incidents, he decides to construct the Rama Mandir on the hill. He collects funds from people and with the help of Kabirdas, his guru, completes the construction of the temple. Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Seetha and Anjaneya live in invisible forms in the place during the construction. They keep on guarding Gopanna until he accomplishes his mission. Thus, with immense bhakti on Lord Rama, Gopanna becomes Ramadasu.

Shirdi Sai (Nagarjuna) appears in Shirdi at an early age and disappears. He goes to the Himalayas and returns to Shirdi after a gap of 9 years. He chooses a dilapidated mosque as his abode. Radha Mohan and Krishna Veni are a couple leading a miserable marital life due to several misunderstandings and decide to apply for divorce. They die on 14 February 1983 at 10:20 AM near a clock tower on their way to the lawyer's office. Their son, Nageswara Rao, becomes a rich and influential businessman and happens to come across his parents' lookalikes, Nagarjuna and Priya. After befriending them, Rao decides to re-establish them as a couple but is shocked when Nagarjuna introduces his lover, Prema. Rao manages to dissolve the relationship with the help of his personal adviser, Girish Karnad. Unaware of this, Nagarjuna swears not to fall in love with anyone. At the same clock tower, Rao meets Dr. Anjali and falls in love with her at first sight. He helps her in admitting an injured old man to a nearby hospital and donates his blood. The injured man, Chaitanya, is shocked upon seeing the pair as they resemble his deceased parents, Seetharamudu and Ramalakshmi.

Shekhar (Arvind Swamy) est le fils de parents hindous traditionnels dans un village côtier du Tamil Nadu. Subhadra (the sister of Balarama and Krishna) marries a Pandava named Arjuna, and their son Abhimanyu falls in love with Balarama's daughter, Sasirekha. The families decide to marry them when they reach adulthood. By the time Abhimanyu and Sasirekha grow up, the Pandavas have lost a dice game to the Kauravas due to Sakuni's manipulation. Krishna, furious at an action of Dussasana that has insulted Draupadi, saves Draupadi. Balarama teaches the Kauravas a lesson and later reaches Hastinapuram.
