is a 2010 epistolary romantic Indian film directed by Bengali filmmaker Aparna Sen. It stars Rahul Bose, Raima Sen and Moushumi Chatterjee, and Japanese actress Chigusa Takaku in the title role. It is in English, Bengali and Japanese.
The film was originally scheduled for release in October 2008, but the release was delayed until 9 April 2010.
The story revolves around a young Bengali village school teacher (Rahul Bose) marrying his Japanese pen friend (Chigusa Takaku) over letters and remaining true and loyal to her throughout his life, while actually never meeting her.
Synopsis
Snehmoy Chatterjee (Rahul Bose) and Miyage (Chigusa Takaku) are pen friends who exchange wedding vows through letters. Seventeen years pass but they never meet. Yet the bond of marriage is strong between them. This unusual relationship comes under a cloud when a young widow, Sandhya (Raima Sen), comes to stay with Snehmoy along with her eight-year-old son Poltu. Snehmoy and the little boy bond and the arithmetic teacher discovers the joy of palpable bonds and fatherhood. There develops an inexplicable thread of understanding with Sandhya too.Acteurs

Meenakshi Iyer (Konkona Sen Sharma), jeune mère de famille tamoule, part rejoindre son mari à Calcutta en compagnie de son fils âgé d'un an, à l'issue d'un séjour chez ses parents. Ceux-ci, inquiets à la perspective de ce long voyage en car et en train, demandent à Raja, un photographe animalier que leur a brièvement présenté un ami, de veiller sur elle. Bien qu'à contre cœur, Meenakshi demande à Raja de l'aider à s'occuper de son bébé et c'est ainsi qu'ils passent pour mari et femme aux yeux des autres passagers : un couple de musulmans âgés, des joueurs de cartes, des sikhs, deux jeunes gens très amoureux, une mère et son fils handicapé... et une bande de joyeux adolescents.

The film revolved around women of three generations and their lives and changing position in society. And this is shown in relation to a jewellery box. The lead character is the matriarch of a Bengali Hindu family (Moushumi Chatterjee) of landed gentry in East Bengal. She was married off in an arranged marriage at age 11, and widowed shortly thereafter. The story of the film revolves around her wedding jewels, which she keeps sequestered in a box. After becoming a victim of ethnic cleansing during the partition of India, her family moves to the Republic of India from East Pakistan, losing their ancestral lands in the process. She spends the remainder of her life, apparently as a chaste widow, hiding her wedding jewels from her greedy relatives in the joint family. In 1949, she befriends the new bride of the family, her niece-in-law (Konkona Sen Sharma) shortly before dying.

Set in 1957, Great Moments in Aviation follows Gabriel Angel (Rakie Ayola), a young Caribbean woman from Grenada who embarks on a cruise to England with the intention of becoming an aviator. Upon boarding the ship, Gabriel finds herself assigned shared sleeping quarters with fellow passenger Duncan Stewart (Jonathan Pryce). The rest of the ship's passengers, including missionaries Angela Bead (Vanessa Redgrave) and Gwendolyne Quim (Dorothy Tutin) assume the two are married, and when Professor Rex Goodyear (John Hurt) appears to recognise Duncan as his old acquaintance Alasdair Birch, Duncan fosters the assumption to maintain his cover. It transpires that Duncan is a forger, who many years ago stole a Titian painting from Goodyear and had an affair with his wife. Goodyear believes that his painting is on board the ship, and leads Gabriel to believe that Duncan was responsible for his wife's death. She is furious with Duncan for lying to her, but the two go on to reconcile and later make love. Their romance is complicated by the fact Gabriel professes to have a husband waiting for her in England. She explains that he has been there for two years working, and she is joining him so that she can fulfil her lifelong dream of becoming a pilot — inspired by her grandfather Thomas (Oliver Samuels) who flew off into a storm and never came home. They begin a relationship nonetheless, supported by Angela and Gwendolyne, who also come to realise that they have feelings for one another. They each confess to having secretly been in love with the other for years, and become lovers, vowing to live together in their retirement. It comes to light that the death of Goodyear's wife was an accident, caused as he and Duncan fought over her. Duncan returns his painting, and goes on to burn all his forged documents and papers in front of Gabriel. She confesses that her marriage to Michael is over, and she and Duncan resolve to begin a life together. The film ends with Gabriel's grandmother Vesuvia (Carmen Munroe) reading her family a letter from England, informing them that Gabriel and Duncan are happy together, and are expecting a child. As the family express their delight, Gabriel flies overhead, having finally attained her pilot licence and become an aviator.

Après avoir vaincu Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) et sa bande, et avoir obtenu l’amnistie, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) et leurs amis sont de retour aux États-Unis pour mener à nouveau une vie de famille tranquille. Brian commence à s’habituer à sa vie de père tandis que Dom tente d’aider Letty (Michelle Rodríguez) à retrouver la mémoire en la ramenant aux Race Wars (« Guerres de courses ») ; cependant, après une altercation avec Hector (Noel Gugliemi), un vieil ami à eux et organisateur du tournoi, elle s’en va. Plus tard, Dom la retrouve au cimetière devant sa tombe, persuadée qu’elle ne retrouvera jamais la mémoire. Alors que Dom se prépare à la détruire, Letty l’arrête, insistant sur le fait que la Letty qu’il a connu est morte le jour où elle a perdu la mémoire, et donc que c’est une nouvelle Letty qu’il a en face de lui. Et sur ces mots, Letty abandonne Dom et disparaît en voiture. Au début du film, le frère aîné de Owen, Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), s’est introduit par effraction dans l’hôpital sécurisé où Owen se trouve dans le coma et a juré de le venger de Dom et son équipe.
