Vogue magazine (November 15, 1917) wrote about the production:
"In the open-air theatre at “Rosemary Farm,” the Long Island estate of Mr. Roland R. Conklin was given, early in October, a most gorgeous pageant, which proved to be, at the same time, one of the most successful of war benefits. This pageant, which consisted of episodes from the history of each of the Allied nations, and the presentation of the case of each Ally before the bar of Truth, Justice, and Liberty, was organized by actors and actresses of the American stage as their contribution to the American Red Cross. It had been long in preparation, and many noted men and women had given generously of their time and effort, --an effort which found its reward, for this single performance brought a net profit of fifty thousand dollars, and the motion picture films which will carry the pageant all over the country will afford an additional income to the Red Cross for some time to come.

As described in a film magazine, the parents of Polly (Marsh), a little horseback rider, are dead, and circus performers Jim (Playter) and Toby (Eldridge) are her sponsors. One night while performing Polly is thrown from her horse and injured. She is taken to the home of parson John Douglas (Steele), and the circus is forced to leave without her. The parson finds in Polly someone different than anyone in his flock, but his liking for the circus rider does not please the members of the congregation. They force Polly to leave and she reenters the circus, but thoughts of the parson make her unhappy. After a year's separation, the circus comes to town again. Douglas has not forgotten his little circus performer, and one night he goes to the tent to visit her. She tries to send him away, but he will not go. The circus tents catch fire, and in the general confusion and wreckage, Douglas and Jim bring Polly to safety. In the arms of the parson, Polly bids her circus friends goodbye. , 1h13

As described in a film magazine, Marshall Strong (Lewis) and John Moore (Playter) are partners in a mine and both love school teacher Constance Harvey (Turner). She prefers Strong, but Moore is crafty and she marries him. Moore is killed in a bar fight and Strong, who had come to the rescue, is accused of murder. Constance and Strong might have still found each other, but Lilas Niles (Truax), through a plot, brings about a misunderstanding and marries Strong. Twenty years later Strong, calling himself Mark Smith, is a wealthy mine operator and he and Lilas have a daughter Nancy (Brent). Constance is still a widow and her son David Moore (Greene) gets a job working at the mine and meets Nancy. Mark Smith does not take proper safety precautions for the mine workers and there is discontent. David is a power for good sense and moderation, and the mine owner trusts him. Nancy's mother Lilas has arranged an engagement for her daughter to an English baronet, Sir Horace Seaton (Hyde). There is an explosion at the mine, and David and Sir Horace rush to the burning mine and try to rescue Mark and the other miners. They pass through a long galley in flames, but are not successful. However, Mark and the miners have escaped through a side passage. As a result, Mark becomes more generous in the mining operation, and David and Nancy are later wed. , 59minutes

Russell BassettThe story evolves from a spat which Milholland has with his fiancée, Alice Gardner. While imbibing too freely in a foolish effort to assuage the pangs besetting him, he decides to sail for Europe, but he lands at Coney Island via the sight-seeing-car route, and in the course of zig-zag events he meets the Princess, an Oriental dancer, in a music hall. He becomes infatuated with her, and for the first time in his young pampered life he earns ten dollars playing a piano while she does her act on the stage. Eventually he takes the Princess to the home of his wealthy aunt, Mrs. King. Their betrothal is announced at a dinner on which occasion the Princess worries Pete and the many guests by her frequent breaches of etiquette. The next day Pete meets his former fiancée and quickly tells her that his love for the Princess is only a passing fancy. When the latter learns of this she returns to her father's Coney Island resort. There she realizes the folly of essaying to hold the fealty of a man abover her caste, and she cheerfully sets about to be happy with her lot. In the meantime a reconciliation reinstates Pete in the realm of bliss with his first love.
