Vishnu Sena is a 2005 Indian Kannada drama - action film directed by Naganna and produced by M. Govinda. The film stars Vishnuvardhan along with Ramesh Aravind, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy and Gurleen Chopra in the prominent roles. The film had a musical score and soundtrack composed and written by Deva.
The film is a remake of Tamil blockbuster film Ramanaa (2002) directed by A. R. Murugadoss and starred Vijayakanth, Ashima Bhalla and Simran.
The film released on 23 December 2005 to generally positive reviews from critics.

Sathya has come up in life the hard way as he lost his mother when he was a small boy and his father was framed and arrested on criminal charges. Sathya, unaware of his father's innocence, takes custody of his five young sisters. Sathya's father Bhadra was cheated by his brother-in-law who poisons his sister's mind to leave her husband, but she commits suicide later and her son Sathya is left with his five sisters. Sathya take care of his sisters well and educates them, but they are under his strict control and any person who plays foul with them faces his wrath, but he finds himself in trouble because of this tough character. Meanwhile, Sathya's father is released from prison and now wants to take revenge on his brother-in-law but the latter joins hands with some villains who want to settle scores with Bhadra and his son. They hatch a plan to a create rift in Sathya's family and surprising everyone succeeds as well. Will Sathya reunite his family again, and prove his father's innocence form the climax.

Sivarama Krishna (Sunil) and Karthik (Naga Chaitanya) are brothers, who are poles apart. Siva is a timid one while Karthik is a stronger and clever one. Ravi (Ravi Teja) works as a collection agent of ICICI bank in Bangalore and leads a happy life along with his friends and his father Mohan Rao (Prakash Raj). Unni (Suresh Menon) is a share broker in Coimbatore and leads a comfortable life with his wife Latha (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy) and daughter Lakshmi/Lechu (Baby Niveditha). Into the cosiness of such a living intrudes a stranger (Mohanlal) who introduces himself as Jose. Cashing in on Unni's forgetfulness, Jose goads him into believing that he is Unni's 7th grade classmate. However, a sense of insecurity pervades, with the unwelcome guest – alcoholic and somewhat eccentric – pitching for an extended stay. Unni's misgivings about the 'mystery man' and his ulterior motives proves true, when his confidant and classmate, Dr Alex Varghese (Murali Gopy), on consultation, reaffirms his doubts that they had no schoolmate in the name of Jose. Soon, they discover to their horror that the stranger is that man whose arrival they have been dreading for a long time now, Sivankutty. It is eventually revealed that Unni and Alex ruined Sivankutty's life by framing the latter for a murder which they had committed. The duo realises that it is payback time and that they're at the receiving end. Death is looming over their head.

Months after the dreaded 2008 Mumbai attacks, a terrorist group led by Saifudeen (Daniel Balaji) planned bomb blasts at five locations in Cochin. At the same time, Sakriya Thomas, the Home Minister of Kerala, arrived at the hospital for his wife's delivery. Meanwhile, the terrorist group was planning to kidnap the Home Minister and his newborn baby. Saifudeen kidnapped three newborn babies and Dr. Balagopal (Mohanlal) came looking for them. Meanwhile, the Home Minister is kidnapped by Saifudeen's men. In the end, Balagopal kills Saifudeen and saves Home Minister and the babies.
