Zindagi Ek Juaa (translation: Life is a Gamble) is a Hindi tragedy/drama, released 1992.
Synopsis
After saving the life of his employer, Jagjit Singh alias JJ (Anupam Kher), Harikishan (Anil Kapoor) is promoted with a wage increase that he had only dreamt of. Anxious to please his employer Harikishan agrees to have his name changed to Harry, and does anything that he is instructed to do. Soon Harry realises that he has been aiding his employer in illegal activities. When he tries to break away, he is told that his mom (Asha Sharma) is and will be held captive to guarantee his cooperation. Harry must now come up with a scheme that will guarantee his safety as well as the freedom of his mom, and at the same time save himself from being arrested by the police.Acteurs

Vijay Chopra (Anil Kapoor), qui a été élevé aux États-Unis, revient en Inde pour succéder à son père, Vishwanath Chopra (Anupam Kher), dans l'entreprise familiale. Il a un mode de vie occidental et ne fait pas grand cas des traditions indiennes. Vishwanath espère apporter un peu de stabilité dans la vie de son fils par le mariage mais ce dernier n'y prête aucune attention. Vishwanath, qui a beaucoup d'estime pour sa secrétaire Megha (Kajol), incite Vijay à la rencontrer. Les deux hommes trouvent enfin un compromis ; Vijay consent à épouser Megha, mais avec un contrat de mariage à l'essai : cette union ne sera valable qu'un an et ne sera prolongée que si les deux partenaires se sentent réellement complices. Dans le cas contraire, Megha devra s'en retourner définitivement chez sa famille... Bien que furieux de la décision de son fils, Vishwanath accepte un tel mariage pensant que Megha est la femme idéale qui saura faire changer d'opinion Vijay sur le mariage. Megha refuse dans un premier temps l'offre, mais issue d'une famille modeste composée de deux sœurs, Manju (Sudha Chandran) et Maya (Gracy Singh), ainsi que d'un frère, Sudhakar (Raju Shrestha), elle se résout à épouser Vijay pour des raisons financières.

Anand Verma, a widower and father of a child, admits a woman in the hospital who had lost her memory. Since he admitted her in the hospital, the doctor asks him to take care of her until she recovers from amnesia. The doctor names her Asha which is the name of Anand's wife and makes her believe that she is married to Anand and has a child. Due to the circumstances, Anand has to accept the situation and takes her to his house. Asha insists that she does not remember any incident about her life with Anand. To make her believe doctor lies to her that she has a birthmark in the part of the body only known to her husband. He also places a photograph of hers with the wedding photo of Anand. Durgeshwari Devi (Hema Malini) is a very rich and proud lady. Pour assurer les études de son jeune frère Karan, Kishen entre secrètement dans le gang du redoutable Anna.
