In the north of Italy in the town of Busto Arsizio, the clumsy and foolish Lorenzo leaves with his daughter Marta for the Christmas holiday for the city of Aspen, in Colorado. In Rome, the vulgar and womanizer Remo Proietti decides to recover unnecessarily loving relationship with his young wife Kelly, and so the two depart for America, while Remo's friends bettors and gamblers alike depart for America, but for Las Vegas. The story of Remo and Lorenzo starts just as Marta, in full adolescent phase, meets the famous Luke Perry and falls in love. In Aspen, Remo also discovers that his old friend Paolone, bettor and also usurer, is spending her Christmas holidays. When Remo loses a game of cards with him, threatening him Paolone legally, Remo is forced to sign a contract stating that his rival will have a sexual relationship with his wife. But Remo turns out that Kelly has a twin sister, valley of a club in the red light: Michelle.

In this romantic comedy, Liechtenhaus (a fictional tiny European principality) is being ruled by Prince Max (David Warner), but the little country is nearly bankrupt. In fact, if he can't get an infusion of cash quickly, he may have to sell the royal palace to American developers as a casino complex. Fortunately, he's got a very pretty daughter, Princess Sofia (Barbara Snellenburg) and the dowry he will get from marrying her off to the unappealing, but wealthy heir to a similar nearby principality will more than get his tiny country in the clear. Unfortunately for him, his daughter is adamant about refusing this arranged marriage and prefers romance with a handsome but penniless windsurfing instructor (Raoul Bova) to saving her country. Nefarious schemes are called for and when the Princess is kidnapped, something must be done.

Au début de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, un jeune psychiatre italien, Marcello Lupi (Beppe Grillo), est mobilisé et affecté dans le désert libyen à une antenne médicale. Intrigué par le comportement erratique et immature du commandant en second, le capitaine Oscar Pilli (Coluche), il se rend rapidement compte que ce dernier souffre d'un déséquilibre mental. Jugeant Pilli dangereux pour le personnel du camp, Lupi tente de le faire écarter du commandement. Mais Pilli, qui se présente comme un ami du maréchal Graziani, s'avère inamovible et fait de Lupi son souffre-douleur. Peu à peu, cependant, une certaine sympathie naît entre les deux hommes, Lupi éprouvant de la compassion pour Pilli. Un jour, l'inconscience de ce dernier provoque un drame.
