She is the daughter of renowned singer Sujatha Mohan. Shweta Mohan is a versatile Indian playback singer who has lent her voice to many successful Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi movies. As the daughter of a renowned Indian playback singer, Sujatha Mohan, she grew up watching her mother sing and so always wanted to be like her. While her mother's music has always inspired her, Shweta is a self-made musician like her mother.Shweta is being trained in Carnatic classical vocal currently under Smt. Shivasagar (Upendra), a wheelchair user, has a son, Vijay (also Upendra) who is playful and irresponsible. To teach him a lesson, he sends Vijay to Bhamapura to help the poor. Vijay doesn't want to go, but a local pizza restaurateur convinces Vijay and his friends that the village is one big brothel. In reality, Bhamapura is a sacred village and the restaurateur had purposefully deceived Vijay and his friends. Divya (Soundarya Jayamala) and her classmates also visit the village. They come for their social activity course to improve the village's health and hygiene. A large building is reserved for him and the girls are asked to stay in the poor families' houses. Vijay and his friends arrive and start to woo the girls, whom they mistake for Bhamapura's prostitutes. When Divya discovers their plan, she and her friends decide to teach Vijay and his friends a lesson.

Satya (Narain) and Kiruba (Ajmal Ameer) are close friends living opposite each other in the neighbourhood. Satya is a rowdy, wasting his time drinking merrily and getting involved in fights. Though he and Kiruba passed college with a first class degree, Satya has no interest in joining the police force like his father. Kiruba studies hard to become a Sub-Inspector(SI), challenging Satya to do the same. Just a day before the exam, Satya decides to take up the exam as well, much to his friend's surprise and with little head start, passes the physical, written and interview, with the help of malpractices and influence from his uncle and becomes an SI. Unusually, this is not a film dominated by a male protagonist.
