So, he becomes Prem to impress her. Gouranga also lands up at Gobinda’s house and discovers that he has got a sister called Rai (Sumita) who desires a boyfriend called Prem and so he too becomes Prem too impress her. Just when the confusion had started, there was a complete chaos. Banya lands up at Gobindo’s place and discovers he is not Prem. Her dominating mother (Sudipa Basu) lands up there with her helping hand, Kandarpo (Kanchan Mullick), who is the would-be-suitor for Banya. Just when he reveals facts like Gobindo being an adopted son, it turns out to be much more than that and finally it is seen that Gobindo and Gouranga are brothers and so Banya is their cousin and therefore Gobindo can’t be with Banya anymore.

Jeet and Raj were invited to a party of a non-Bengali business client of Jeet, where Raj flirted with the businessman's daughter Inka (Neha Panda). After party, both the friends bought drinks from closed shops and drank in the open. Both of them wished they had each other life. After getting up from sleep, both of them found that their soul has interchanged. Both of the friends were surprised to find themselves in that situation. While both of them tried to be loyal, but found it difficult to live in each other's life. In the meanwhile Raj (in Jeet's body) visited Chandannagar, his home town to meet his parents, which he left years ago to make a career in singing. Even, Jeet (in Raj's body) came to visit his house to see his child. Inka came to stay with Raj (actually Jeet's soul) after she had a fight with her parents. Both the friends tried to manage each other's work. While, Raj gave an interesting solution of using terracotta in bathroom instead of gold plates to the Indonesian clients. Jeet, on the other hand introduced Inka as a lead singer in their band, whose performance was well appreciated. The two friends, decided to get back to each other's life, they repeated the same acts they did on the day they interchanged and were successful in getting back their souls in their own body. The movie ended with Raj going for a trip to Chandannagar to visit his parents.

Madly Bangalee is a Bengali rock band that inspires the film’s title. They rehearse in a dowdy garage of Kolkata, owned by Bobby (Lew Hilt), who owns Bobby’s Garage. Four young boys with stardust in their eyes practise their numbers not knowing what they are really aiming at. But the garage is under threat from a South Kolkata don Baburam (Chandan Sen). One morning, an elderly man, San (Anjan Dutt), arrives from "America and Paris." Baaji, (Sumit) the drummer who is a Muslim had to drop out of school. He escapes from the trap of turning a terrorist like his older brother Sultan. He later becomes a police officer who bashes up everyone who tries to bribe him. Neon (Tanaji) plays the bass guitar but, sucked into the world of drugs, he disappears from the face of the earth with his guitar. Pablo, lead singer, lead guitarist and lyricist, leaves for the US and the group breaks up. Bobby dies.

Tiasha tells Raja that Shekhar has made a will whereby he has decided to leave half his property to his wife and half to his sister Sumana whom he is close to. But Sumana and Tiasha can't stand each other. Raja decides to eliminate Shekhar in order to be with Tiasha.
