actress.
Vaishnavi appeared in the serials Anni, Muhurtham, and Malargal. She acted in many TV serials and also acted as Sherin's friend in Whistle. She was also the video jockey for the programme titled Kondattam for SUN TV.
On 17 April 2006, Vaishnavi hanged herself in her home after a fight with actor Dev Anand, her married co-star in the Tamil serial Manaivi, with whom she was having a relationship. On 19 April 2006, Anand was arrested in connection with Vaishnavi's death. Vaishnavi's parents and her younger sister had been to her grandfather's house to celebrate his birthday. Vaishnavi, who stayed alone at home, used this time and hanged herself. The reason for her suicide is not known.

The film starts off by showing Chithambaram (Prakash Raj), and how he's an important man in the village. He is an adamant character who always sticks on to his decisions. When the temple festival starts, Kausalya (Priyanka) goes to her grandfather's house to celebrate. There she meets Suresh (Vikram) and they fall in love. Meanwhile, Chithambaram gets into many conflicts with Suresh, not even knowing who the other was. All the things that Suresh did were unintentional but Chithambaram doesn't realize this. Therefore, Chithambaram ends up with a very negative opinion of Suresh. When the day comes that everyone in Kausalya's grandfather's's home find out that Suresh and Kausalya are in love, they try to get Chithambaram (Kausalya's father) to agree to the wedding. He, however stubbornly sticks to his decision that the marriage should not take place.

The film begins with murder of Swetha a college student which is considered as accident. The scene shifts to college. Anjali (Gayathri Raguram) & Jeeva (Vikramaditya Shukla) are college lovebirds. Maya (Sherin) has a crush on Jeeva. They along with their friends spend happy days in college. One day, Vinod is murdered by Naga which is witnessed by Anjali. But no one believes her. Subsequently two other friends are murdered by Naga. In the fear, Anjali reveals the past to Maya that during the school days how the six members ragged a village girl, Sarawathi (Divyadarshini) and she committed suicide of six, four are murdered. She thinks the murders are related to the incidents. In the turn of events, it is shown that Jeeva is the murderer. On the same night, Sharmi is murdered before Anjali by Naga. Later, it is revealed the actual murderer is Maya who is the sister of Sarawathi. Later, Jeeva saves Anjali and Maya is killed. The comedy track of the movie follows the theme of the Hollywood movie What Women Want.

Born and brought up in a small village by foster parents, Vikram alias Vicky (Saif Ali Khan) comes to Bombay - the big city - to find his fortune. He wants to get rich soon, and he does get lucky when fate, and his confidence, courage and good looks land him a job with a politician cum criminal named Masterji (Dalip Tahil). He also meets a bar dancer named Anita Vaishnavi Mahant and love blossoms. Masterji starts him off with petty crimes, just to ensure his capabilities. Through his hard work and dedication, Vicky soon wins the respect of Masterji and his colleagues, especially one trusted man of Masterji named Vinayak More (Viju Khote). He soon becomes "Bambai ka babu" Then Vicky is entrusted with a task of subduing Masterji's rival, Jaya Shetty (Vishwajeet Pradhan), which he does easily. Then instead of being disposed off, Jaya is asked to make friends with Masterji, so as to benefit the latter. But soon Vicky comes to know of Masterji's plan with Jaya to incite communal violence as a means of indirectly winning the elections, he decides to sabotage their plans. Angered at this, Masterji orders the death of Vicky at any cost. Vicky has nowhere to turn to, except to live in fear for the rest of his life, as sooner or later Jaya and Masterji's men will track him down.

Raju (Anil Kapoor) lives with his disabled mom (Farida Jalal). One day Raju on his way to a job interview saves the life of a rich textile mill owner (Anupam Kher) who offers him a job in his factory which is run by his ambitious daughter Sheetal (Sridevi). Naattamai (Sarathkumar) is a very kind-hearted, disciplined man. He sits on the ancestral throne in his village to do justice (similar to panchayat). He hears all the cases and gives solutions and punishments to the wrong-doers. His wife, Khushboo admires and respects him a lot. His brothers Pasupathi (sarathkumar) and Raja Ravindra fear for him and also have a lot of respect for him as he has brought them up as his children. The young Sarathkumar marries Meena, daughter of an industrialist. She at first never liked Naatamai and her husband for being so timid before his brother but later transforms after knowing his greatness from her father.Raja Ravindra loves his paternal cousin(Ponnambalam)'s daughter (Sanghavi). In the flashback, Periya Naatamai(Vijayakumar) father of naatamai orders Ponnambalam to marry his servant's daughter whom he raped, though he is his sister's son. His brother-in-law shoots at him as he is disappointed by his verdict.Enraged Periya Naatamai gives his final verdict before dying to abandon their family and whoever visits his house will receive the same punishment and also not to share even a glass of water with them. Ponnambalam from then builds envy on his uncle's family and waits for an opportunity to take revenge on them. He plans to bring a lady (Subhashri) as a teacher to the school in the village and tells her to make young Sarathkumar fall for her. She does so to save her father who is in the hands of Ponnambalam. He kills her and makes the villagers believe that Sarathkumar has done this. Naatamai sentences 10 years of exile for his brother's family. Now Ponnambalam comes to know of his daughter's love and tries to kill Raja Ravindra with the help of his goons. Sarathkumar goes in rescue of him and pregnant Meena goes to Naatamai to convey this message. Manorama rushes to Nattamai and reveals the truth and tells that he punished his brother without committing any mistake. Naatamai takes revenge on Ponnambalam and dies on knowing that he gave a wrong verdict. Now younger Sarathkumar is shown taking the ancestral throne from his brother.

She even offers Pandy cash to have Chembaruthi stop seeing Raja. Pandy feels highly humiliated by this accusation & reciprocates by insulting Bhanumathi. Their talk enters a deadlock & spells doom for Raja & Chembaruthi's tender love. Bhanumathi engages Raja to the daughter of Murugan in order to establish business ties with her rich father. Murugan also engages his sister to another fisherman Kumar (Mansoor Ali Khan) But Raj & Chembaruthi run away from home. Bhanumathi announces a reward for anyone who can help find her grandson. Murugan decides that he wants the money. He & his goons find the lovers, kidnap & lock them up in a Boat. Raja. fights his life out for Chembaruthi & save her from being drowned in the sea. Bhanumathi realize that their love is very strong & doesn't want to stand in the way of their happiness. She & Pandy accept their love & give their blessings to the union.

Rishi, jeune ingénieur citadin, opte pour un mariage arrangé avec une villageoise, Senbagam. Alors que Rishi doit faire part de sa décision face à toute la famille, il croise le regard de Roja, la jeune sœur de Senbagam, et annonce que c'est elle qu'il veut épouser. Le monde de Roja s'écroule. En effet, elle a toujours affirmé qu'elle ne se marierait pas et ferait des études. De plus elle se sent coupable, croyant avoir volé le fiancé de sa sœur. Dans ces conditions les débuts du jeune couple sont difficiles, mais cela s'arrange et tous deux partent pour le Cachemire où Rishi doit effectuer une mission pour l'armée. Leur bonheur ne semble pas connaître de limite dans cette région magnifique, quand soudain la réalité les rattrape : Rishi est enlevé par un groupe d'indépendantistes qui veut l'échanger contre leur leader emprisonné.

The story begins with a young couple, Balu and Ishwarya, being chased by some goons. Ishwarya is the daughter of Rajadorai (Charan Raj) and had eloped and run away with her boyfriend Balu against the wishes of Rajadorai. Rajadorai sends his goons to track down the couple. When the goons finally track down the couple in a forest and start beating up Balu, a man (Rajinikanth) comes to the couple's rescue. When Rajadorai and his brother Ramadorai (Nizhalgal Ravi) find out about this man, they rush over to his hideout in the forest, only to escape in fear when they see him. The couple is scared and puzzled as to how the man could induce so much fear in the brothers. The man's wife Parvathi (Gouthami) then tells the couple the story of the man, whose name is Dharmadorai.

The film begins with Azhagiri (Vijayakanth) in serious condition in hospital because he was shot by the police. In the past, Azhagiri was a military officer and got married with Raasathi (Gouthami). After spending few years in military camp, Azhagiri rejoined his wife and his daughter. They shifted to Ramu's house, Ramu (R. Sarathkumar) was his friend and his superior Chakravarthy's son. Few years ago, Ramu teased Raasathi and he was beaten for this act along with his friends Vishwanath (Vishwanath) and Vijay (Vijay Krishnaraj). They cannot forget the humiliation. They tried to rape Raasathi but she committed suicide before. Azhagiri first killed Vishwanath in a public place. Azhagiri was arrested and sentenced to the death penalty. The day before his penalty, he escaped from the jail but the police found him and shot him. Azhagiri is now cured and sees Vijay in the hospital's bed. As last wish, Azhagiri begged the police to stay in the hospital for few more days. Azhagiri also killed Vijay smoothly without anyone suspect him. Azhagiri manages to escape from the hospital with the nurse's help. Azhagiri is now determinated to kill Ramu before the police catches him.
