The film stars Mammootty and Aparna Gopinath in the lead roles, along with Nedumudi Venu, Joy Mathew, Prathap Pothan, Sreeraman, Renji Panicker, Saiju Kurup, Joshy Mathew, Sudheesh and Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles.
The film follows Anjali Arakkal (Aparna Gopinath), a junior journalist, who has set out to write an autobiography on convict C.K. Raghavan (Mammootty) who professes that he never committed the crimes he is in prison for. The film released on 22 August 2014 to positive reviews.
Synopsis
Anjali Arakkal,a freelance journalist,while interacting with a retiring jail superintendent (Nedumudi Venu) meets C R Raghavan (Mammootty) who even after completing his 20 year term in jail still prefers to continue there.She had came to write the officer’s autobiography,but instead finds Raghavan’s life an interesting one.Becoming a mystery for Anjali,Raghavan was tried for killing his wife and the daughter of his employee,But claims of his innocence every now and then.Acteurs

The Harikrishnans (Mammootty and Mohanlal) are one of the most famous lawyer duos in India. To avoid confusion one is called as Hari (Mammooty) and the other as Krishnan (Mohanlal). They head the organization called Harikrishnan Associates, which consists of around 300 lawyers. They get engaged in a murder case of Guptan, who was allegedly killed by Gabriel. Gabriel is a friend of Hari's sister and Harikrishnans become the defense lawyers upon her request. Harikrishnans begin investigation and come across Meera (Juhi Chawla), a friend of Guptan. Both of them fall in love with her. After some trouble over the matter, they rediscover their friendship and get involved in the case again. They discover that Guptan actually died due to poisoning by his relatives who were doctors. At the end Meera decides to go for a random method of choosing her lover as she liked both Harikrishnans equally. Two different climaxes of the film show either of Harikrishnans winning the toss for being Meera's friend; the losing person presumably becoming Meera's lover.

The film revolves around Madhavan Nair (Nedumudi Venu) who unknowingly kills a teenager and his eldest son, Raja, takes the blame and is sentenced to jail for five years. The film starts off with Martin (Chemban Vinod Jose) confessing to a priest (Lijo Jose Pellissery) in a church, explaining his past. Martin gets arrested for stealing money from a temple. He meets 6 other people who had been arrested in prison, Narayankutty (Neeraj Madhav), an electronic shop owner arrested for giving a hidden camera in a soap box to 2 people, who used them in a hotel; Nobilettan (Nedumudi Venu), a chit fund company owner cheated by Pious Matthew (Joy Mathew) and his younger brother, Christo, which caused his son's life ; Shabab (Asif Ali) who beats up his visa provider who had busted him in a jail at Dubai for 10 months; Vasu aka Leaf Vasu (Sudheer Karamana), the former right-hand man of Pious, after his weapon fell on his head he had a mental disorder ; Salam (Salam Bukhari), a circus performer ; and Krishnanunni (Prithviraj Sukumaran), a bank employee, whose wife Sarah (Reenu Mathews) was killed in a car accident after she was harassed by Pious, who had abused her after she got cheated. After they were released, the seven of them planned to steal money from a safe in the charity hospital where Pious and his brothers had kept their money.

Hareendranath Nair (Prithviraj) is an Indian soldier guarding an Indian picket in Kashmir. He happens to meet a Pakistani soldier Mushraff (Javed Jaffrey) on one fine day. They immediately relate to each other and despite of being from different countries they seem to understand each other better than anyone else. They eventually become close friends and start to enhance the morale of each other. However, their friendship raises suspicions among others. He confides in the dog his inner thoughts and emotions which lifts his spirit slightly even at the most difficult times.
