Aalaya Sikharam (Telugu: ఆలయ శిఖరం) is a 1983 Telugu film directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. The film stars Chiranjeevi and Sumalatha in lead roles.
Synopsis
Chiranjeevi Plays a Horse-cab driver role in this movie. He is the second son of Gollapudi, who is jobless and sells everything possible for gambling. Ranganath is chiru's elder brother, who is the only educated person in the family. Chiru works hard to see his brother in a good position after studies, But Ranganath ditches his family and joins Satyanarayana's factory and woos him to become his son-in-law. Sumalatha sells flowers and is in love with chiru. She stands by him when Chiru faces troubles both from his brother and father. After ranganath left them, chiru takesup the responsibility of his family and tries to get his sister's marital life settled. Ranganath refuses to recognize his family in society and insults them. Satyanarayana uses him to solve his professional problems and then fixes him in a murder case. Despite Ranganath's hatred towards his family, Chiru helps him out of the case and exposes satyanarayana's evil intentions. Ranganath and Gollapudi realize their responsibilities and a happy family reunion takes place.Acteurs

Chanakya (Chiranjeevi),a Customs officer at airport is the son of a Military Major(Kaikala Satyanarayana|Satyanarayana) who is about to be awarded Padmasree for his services. Chanakya catches the smuggling ring of Raogopalrao and in retaliation they prove that Chanakya's father is smuggling diamonds. Faced with humiliation, Chanakya challenges the villains of proving his father's innocence and bringing the culprits to justice. The film starts off with Sardar being taken to prison. To get out of the situation, he writes to his best man, Vikram. Vikram goes to Ananda Rao and warns him. He then kidnaps Ananda Rao's daughter Radha. He tells her that he is a police officer and they fall in love; however, she finds out that he is a goon. Nevertheless, she does not leave him but urges him to surrender. Transformed by true love, Vikram surrenders himself to the police and is imprisoned for two years. Back home, Radha tells her brother Rambabu the whole truth. To keep Radha from getting married to somebody else, he calls his friend Tommy to put on a show that Radha and Tommy love each other. Tommy misunderstands the situations and actually falls in love with Radha. When Vikram comes back, he starts working in a garage and tries to reform himself. Despite everything, Ananda Rao kicks him out of his life. After many days and events that follow, Rambabu finds out that Tommy is a smuggler. After getting released from prison, Sardar desires revenge against both Ananda Rao and Vikram, so he kidnaps Radha, Ananda Rao and Rambabu. Vikram comes at the last moment and frees all of them. As a happy ending, Ananda Rao lets Radha marry Vikram.

Satyam (N.T. Rama Rao) is a youth leader and Panchayati Board President. He interferes with the ex-President of the board, Rudrayya (Rao Gopala Rao) from executing his corrupt practices. Satyam and Rudrayya's daughter, Savithri (Jayapradha) are in love and plan to get married. So Rudrayya gets Satyam killed with the help of a professional killer (Prabhakar Reddy). Satyam immediately goes to heaven. He angers the King of Heaven, Indra (Kanta Rao) while he enjoys the dance by Rambha, Urvasi and Menaka. He sends him straight to hell headed by Yama (Satyanarayana) and ably assisted by Chitragupta (Allu Ramalingaiah). In hell, he influences the soldiers of death, Yama's army using communist theories and rights of labor, and turns them against their leader-Yama, and Hell shuts down. Yama sends him back to Earth. Yama and Chitragupta visits Earth on a holiday trip and experiences the funny aspects of Humans. Satyam changes his name and teaches Rudrayya a lesson.

Viswanathan, a famous director, is haunted by the death of his wife and a young man whom he accidentally hit while driving. Later he meets Shyama, the daughter of his friend, still struggling with the death of her boyfriend, the man whom Viswanathan had killed. They fall in love but Viswanatan tries to avoid her.
