The film, which went on nationwide general release across Turkey on November 13, 2009 (2009-11-13), won several awards, including the Golden Orange and Turkish Film Critics Association awards for Best Film, at the 46th Antalya "Golden Orange" International Film Festival.
Synopsis
One day in the lives of three young men from the same neighborhood in İzmir’s Bornova district. Hakan (Öner Erkan) is a young man who spends his entire day in front of the neighborhood’s grocery shop with Salih (Kadir Çermik), thinking, “If we were just given the chance…” Salih, the neighborhood’s psychopathic rogue, is like an older brother to Hakan, who has just returned home after completing his mandatory military service. Hakan does not have a job, but he plans to become a taxi driver to be able to realize all he wants in this life: to earn just enough money to be able to decently look after a small family and to marry the girl he secretly adores. Salih is the only person who listens to Hakan and gives him advice. Although Salih has grown up in a respectable, educated family, he’s involved in every kind of illegal business in the neighborhood. Everybody in the neighborhood is scared of him, including high school student Özlem (Damla Sönmez). Hakan is crazy about Özlem, but he never had the courage to talk to her in person. In the meantime, Murat (Erkan Bektaş), Salih’s childhood friend and a doctoral student in philosophy, makes a living through writing erotic fantasies. He tells Hakan about an erotic fantasy that he wrote based on an event involving Salih and Özlem. Disappointed and confused, Hakan heads toward Özlem’s house to learn about the whole thing.Acteurs

Emrah is a dreamer who hopes to be a great director, trying to shoot his first feature film. Armateur grec et considéré comme l'un des hommes les plus riches au monde, Theo Tomasis est un homme à femmes séducteur. Lors d'une soirée, il est séduit par Liz, la jeune femme d'un sénateur américain, James Cassidy, de passage en Grèce. Bien que marié à Simi, Theo est amoureux d'elle mais il la perd de vue. Quelques années plus tard, Cassidy est devenu le président des Etats-Unis mais Liz a du mal à se faire à son rôle de Première Dame. Dès lors, elle accepte une invitation de Theo pour une croisière en Grèce. Peu après son retour en Amérique, son époux est assassiné. Alors que le pays est traumatisé par cet assassinat, Liz trouve du réconfort dans les bras de Theo. Mais le fils de l'armateur meurt dans un accident tandis que sa femme Simi, hantée par le décès de leur enfant, se donne la mort. Malgré les épreuves qu'ils doivent surmonter, Theo et Liz trouveront ensemble du réconfort dans leur mariage.

Vikas Chandra (Vinod Mehra) and Aarti (Rekha) have recently married, and they move into their new apartment. One day they go out to watch a late night Hindi movie at a local cinema theatre. The movie gets over well after midnight, and as no cab is found this hour, they decide to walk home by foot. On the way, they are suddenly waylaid by four men, who assault Vikas, leaving him unconscious, and forcibly take Aarti with them. When Vikas regains his senses he finds himself in hospital with a head wound. He is informed that Aarti is in the same hospital, after being gang-raped and assaulted. This incident makes headlines in the media, and is also a subject of discussion by politicians during their election campaign. Vikas feels haunted by this incident, and does not know how to act further. Aarti, on the other hand, has been completely traumatised, and is unable to trust any male. Now the couple faces a serious crisis leading to a loveless relationship, and only a miracle can bring the old spark back into their married life.

Raoul a tout essayé pour effacer l'éternel air triste affiché par son épouse, Solange. En vain. Automne allemand 1977, la Fraction armée rouge (RAF) terrorise la République fédérale d’Allemagne pour libérer ses figures historiques. Deux célébrations de funérailles à deux jours d'intervalle à Stuttgart ponctuent le récit. La première est l'enterrement du patron des patrons, exécuté par les terroristes de la RAF après la nuit de la mort de leurs leaders retrouvés suicidés dans leurs cellules de Stammheim quelques heures après l'annonce de la libération des otages du détournement du Landshut. La seconde est l'enterrement des suicidés de Stammheim sous haute surveillance policière. Dix réalisateurs du nouveau cinéma allemand témoignent de cette accélération des événements en mettant en scène des fictions et courts documentaires historiques pour restituer le climat de terreur quotidienne inspirée par la RAF tout en s'interrogeant sur la pression étatique nécessaire à la traque de terroristes dans un pays démocratique.
