Synopsis
Carlos (Luis Omar O'Farrill) is an aspiring surfer, whose father, Alberto (Carlos Esteban Fonseca), disapproves of his passion. They both visit Alberto's father, Rafael (Jacobo Morales), at the Catholic retirement home he lives in. Carlos is left with his grandfather and his friends Pablo (Diego de la Texera) and Anselmo (Adrián García), whom Pablo nicknames "Elmo". Alberto later picks up Carlos, he tells Rafael he and Carlos are moving to Orlando for his job, leaving Rafael without words. After leaving the retirement home and realizing what little time he has before he moves, Carlos calls Rafael later that night to invite him and his elder friends to a road trip to Loíza for a surfing competition and for Rafael to show him the family land. Early the next morning, the elders manage to sneak out of the retirement home through the kitchen and head out to Loíza with Carlos driving his father's car. After realizing their absence, the Madre Superiora of the retirement home (Marian Pabón) recurs to the help of Noberto (Luis Raúl), the home's security guard, to retrieve the elders and bring them back.Acteurs

Teddy (Johnathon Schaech) is a New York bird smuggler who goes to Australia to replace a flock of escaped birds after a deal goes awry. While there, he has a wild liaison with a quirky, sexually ravenous girl, Angie (Susie Porter), who after a brief courtship knocks him unconscious and kidnaps him. When he awakes he finds himself "married" to her - not legally - and stranded in Woop Woop, a desolate, dilapidated town hidden within a crater-like rock formation in Aboriginal territory. The residents are people who lived there at an asbestos mining camp before the land was handed over to the Aborigines; following a tragedy in 1979, Woop Woop was abandoned and literally "erased" from the Australian map. Not content with the deal given to them by the mining company (from Fremantle), they opted to return to their old lives in Woop Woop. At first they repopulated themselves incestuously, which caused wide mental instability. A rule was then enacted ("Rule #3") which bans residents from sleeping with their relatives. Since then, outsiders like Teddy have been occasionally kidnapped to keep Woop Woop populated.

Le voyage de la famille Russo pour Porto Rico aurait dû être un voyage de rêve. Les parents ont choisi de faire découvrir à leurs enfants l'île sur laquelle ils se sont rencontrés et où ils sont tombés amoureux. Paysages paradisiaques et souvenirs magiques étaient alors au programme. Mais attention, toute baguette magique, grimoire et autres potions magiques doivent rester à New York : ces vacances se passeront sans magie... Justin décide tout de même d'emmener la baguette de la famille, on ne sait jamais ! À peine arrivée, Alex, bien décidée à profiter de ces vacances pour se faire de nouveaux amis, promet de se rendre à une fête organisée sur la plage, et compte bien sur la magie pour parvenir à ses fins. Malheureusement sa mère s'y oppose et une dispute éclate. Sans réfléchir, Alex jette par accident un sort à sa mère : « Je voudrais que Papa et toi vous ne vous soyez jamais connus ! »... Son vœu se réalise et menace la famille : les parents, Jerry et Theresa ne se souviennent plus l'un de l'autre, comme avant leur rencontre. Pour conjurer le sort, Alex et Justin devront trouver dans la jungle la Pierre des Rêves pendant que Max devra trouver un moyen de faire retomber ses parents amoureux l'un de l'autre. Le temps presse, les 3 enfants Russo n'ont que 48 heures pour conjurer le sort.
