Starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Roja, Srividya in lead roles. This is the first and the only film in which Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal appeared on Telugu screen, he did a cameo in a song "Goruvanka Vaalagane" which was one of the best compositions of the music director M. M. Keeravani.
Synopsis
The story opens with Chakravarthy (Akkineni Nageswara Rao), a millionaire who has everything in his life. He is a successful businessman. He has achieved everything in his life, but he doesn't have a successor to enjoy his wealth. He breaks up his relation with his wife suspecting her to have an affair with his colleague where he was working 20 years ago. During the breakup period, his wife (Srividya) was a pregnant. He repents for losing her and his child. One fine day three people Nandamuri Balakrishna, Roja, Brahmanandam enter into his life saying that they are his children. The remaining story is how Chakravarthy finds out his child from the three with the help of Idea Appa Rao (Nagesh), his personal assistant.Acteurs

Mukundan K. Kartha (Mohanlal) is a simple man, with a decent job, whose old college classmate and friend Viswanath (Sreenivasan) comes to meet him. He lives in a small residential colony in Chennai, where there's a water shortage and the people struggle to make ends meet. The damsel of the colony, Sumithra (Ranjini) likes Mukundan. Viswanath is a fraud and con-man and he makes Mukundan and the people of his colony believe that he is an influential person and classmate of the Public Works Department minister. He makes the people believe that, due to his influence, water pipes arrived at the colony.

Story revolves around two friends Narayanan Kutty (Mohanlal) and Balan (Shankar Panicker). Working as a mechanic at K&K Automobiles in Chennai, Narayanan Kutty is always lusty towards girls. Though he has never been successful in wooing any girl, Narayan Kutty finds fun in boasting about his encounters with rich girls in and around the city. Manoharan (Jagathy Sreekumar), the proprietor of K&K Automobiles always falls in deep trouble because of the careless attitude of Narayan Kutty at work place. Balan a close buddy of Mala imposters himself as Mala and contacts Narayanan Kutty. Kutty, who has never seen Mala, starts believing Balan to be original Mala. But as part of a plan to fool him, Mala approaches him as Sujatha, a news reporter to interview him about his relationship with the daughter of M.N Nambiar. In short time, Narayanan Kutty falls in love with Mala, whom he mistakes to be Sujatha (Lizy Priyadarshan). Things get much complicated for him as she also reciprocates in the same manner. On the other hand, the life of Balan was going too smoothly until the parents of his fiancée arrives in the city along with her to see his office. Balan, who is actually an attender at the office had lied to them that he is a manager of the company. To add more trouble, M.N Nambiar decides to marry again, which his daughter objects vehemently, inviting more clashes. How Balan and Narayanan Kutty solve out the troubles and loose the knots that they created, forms the rest of the story.

Appukuttan Nair or 'Appu' (Mohanlal) is a struggling unemployed youth who arrives in Mumbai to meet his sister and brother-in-law (Augustine). His father has been falsely implicated in a bank fraud and wants to sell his ancestral property to pay towards the litigation. For that he needs his sister's approval, but is abused and turned away by his brother-in-law. Disappointed, Appu seeks out his old pal Nooruddin or 'Noor' (Sreenivasan), who is working in a fruit juice vending shop in Mumbai. Noor himself is a hapless uneducated youth working for his uncle Beeran (Mamukkoya), who is a treacherous money lender, with a hope to marry his daughter Maimoona. They plan to open a paint shop but need 1.25 lakh Rupees to rent a shop as prerequisite to get a bank loan. With no other way in sight, they swindle Beeran out of 1.25 lakh Rupees. Appukuttan then tries to get the loan sanctioned but he is rebuffed by a new Bank manager Varghese (Maniyanpilla Raju) who had taken charge by then.

Revathi (Menaka) comes to the city from a small town in search of a job and to have a good life and as it is with everyone her problem starts with finding a house. Shyam (Shankar) wants to become a singer. His parents are against his wish to become a singer. So he runs away from home and needs a shelter.
