Jeevana Teeralu (Telugu: జీవన తీరాలు) is a 1977 Telugu film directed by G. C. Sekhar and produced by A. Gopala Krishna Reddy. The film stars Krishnam Raju, Vanisri, Jayasudha and Kongara Jaggaiah in the lead roles. The film had musical score by K. Chakravarthy. It is a remake of 1959 Bollywood film Dhool Ka Phool directed by Yash Chopra.
The movie starts with the marriage of a young couple Krishnaveni (Vanisri) and Krishnamraju, and continues with happy family life and kids. The couple decides to go to a tourist place called Amaravati. Krishnaveni has subconscious bad memories of her childhood abuse and the place where she was molested. She starts having hallucinations, overwhelming fear and other symptoms of mental illness. She is sent to a mental hospital and treated by psychologists. After her return from hospital, she is not welcomed back by her family members, kids, neighbours or even her friends. Society is afraid of her disease. Evil people misuse this opportunity. Slight disagreements or arguments are also treated as a sign of her disease. She cannot regain the affection of her husband and kids. Her misfortunes continue until she becomes ill again. The movie ends on a sad note, but conveys a message about society's misconceptions about mental illness.
Satyam and Dharmaiah are friends and favorite students of Bhavani Prasad. Satyam is the son of Bhushaiah, a rich landlord. Dharmaiah is the son of Kotaiah, a laborer. The story starts with Bhavani Prasad teaching his students about the need for unity among people of all castes and creeds and the song "Gunna Mamidi Komma Meedha" that epitomizes his teachings and friendship.

Savitri and Satyavanta want to marry, but Narada (Kanta Rao) warns Savitri that Satyavantha will die within a year after their wedding. He suggests that they do not marry. She ignores his advice. Satyavanta loses his kingdom and he, his wife and his parents are forced to live in a forest. On their first anniversary, Satyavanta goes deep into the forest to collect material, unaware of Narada's prediction. Worried about what might happen, Savitri accompanies him, but her husband is accidentally killed. Devastated by his death, Savitri fights Yama (N. T. Rama Rao). After a long struggle, Satyavanta is revealed to be alive.
