The film features Kamal Haasan and Bindiya in the lead roles while Sivaranjani, Sindhuja, Nirmalamma and Chi. Guru Dutt play supporting roles. The film opened in April 1993. This Story Inspired by Novel Goodbye Piccadilly, Farewell Leicester Square By Arthur La Bern. Already Alfred Hitchcock done a movie called Frenzy
Synopsis
The movie revolves around a Tamil pop singer Inderjeet based in Bangalore who has a large female following. The movie opens with the death of a back-up dancer, Sandhya, in Inderjeet's group and soon a police detective is put in charge of the investigation. Although the police suspect Inderjeet as he is very short-tempered, they have no evidence linking him to the crime. Meanwhile Divya, Sandhya's elder sister, arrives at her aunt, Dr. Prabhavathy’s (their dad's elder sister) house to find out the truth about Sandhya's death. She goes to meet Inderjeet but is put off by his arrogance. She also talks to his manager, Dr. Harichandra Prasad, and other musicians who all have differing opinions about Sandhya.Acteurs

Two honest and bold police officers Adhi Narayanan (Kamal Hassan) and Abbas (Arjun) device a master plan to bring in control the Terrorist Groups and send two secret vigilance officers, named Anand and Shiva on an operation called Operation "Dhanush". Raju (Karthik Muthuraman) and his sidekicks (Chinni Jayanth, Vadivelu and Thyagu) stole black money to help an orphanage. D.I.G. Mohanraj knew that they are thieves but he's unable to send them in jail. Raju and Radhika (Sivaranjani), Mohanraj's daughter, failed in love. Her father refuses to accept it so he arranged a marriage with Ajith (Udaya Prakash), a police officer. Raju drank alcohol and he became drunk, and he killed Ajith. When he came back to his car, there was Raju drunk at the back seat. Raju's look-alike said his flashback. His name was Somasekhar, fell in love with Bhavani (Kushboo Sundar) and married her. She worked at Chatterjee's (Nasser) Ganja estate. Chatterjee wanted Somasekhar's estate but Somasekhar didn't want to sell it to a criminal. Chatterjee's henchmen killed his wife who gave birth to a girl. Somasekhar, wounded, can't do anything. Few years later, Ajith kidnapped his daughter. Somasekhar, after told the flashback, reveals to Raju that he still will kill 2 people as Raju. Somasekhar went, to his daughter's nanny home who also worked for Chatterjee, as Raju and she asked him to be Somasekhar for some days. Raju's lover and his friends came to see him but Somasekhar advised to go to a place, they went there and Somasekhar's friend kidnapped them like Raju. Finally, they managed to escape. Somasekhar found where his child was kidnapped. Chatterjee caught Raju and Somasekhar. Somasekhar revealed that he gave his property and his daughter to Raju. Somasekhar killed Chatterjee and died.

The recently dismissed police commissioner of Chennai, Inspector General Raghavan Maraar (Mohanlal), describes in a voice-over about his sudden termination due to a common man who walked into his life. Three amateur thieves plot to kidnap a wealthy person’s (Saurabh Shukla) son from the boy's school. They do a trial run. However on the eve of the kidnap, the guy whose job is to operate a crane in this plan is hospitalized. The services of Avinasi aka Mumbai Xpress (Kamal Haasan), a deaf stunt man performing daredevil bike acts is roped in. Twists and turns take place where the other two gang members are hurt and invariably Mumbai Xpress is left to perform the all tasks by himself. He kidnaps a wrong boy Daddu (Hardhik), the illegitimate son of Ahalya (Manisha Koirala) and police officer Rao (Om Puri), but manages to get a huge ransom from Mehta by default. A brawl takes place between the original kidnap planners-Digambar (Vijay Raaz), Johnson (Dinesh Lamba) and Avinasi in handling Ahalya’s child but Avinasi delivers the child unhurt to his mother. He secretly listen to Ahalya's tele-con with Rao where Rao wants to settle both the ransom and sever his ties with her. Ahalya pleads and coaxes him to help her get the ransom which Rao is willing to pay. The child takes a fancy to Avinasi and wants him to be the man in their life, and gets him to agree.Ahalaya wants either Rao’s or Mehta'a money which Avinasi is holding, whereas Avinasi is in love and wants to be that protective person. Rao appoints Mehta to handle the ransom and what follows is a series of mix-ups.

Obligé de fuir Thoothukudi, pour des raisons politiques et surtout, après avoir abattu un policier, meurtrier de son père, un activiste, le jeune Vélou (Kamal Hassan) finit par échouer à Bombay, dans un bidonville tamoul. Il devient dès lors, Vélou-Nayagar, le "parrain-justicier" pour ses compatriotes, les protégeant, face à toutes formes d'injustice, durant plusieurs décennies, tel un ange exterminateur.. Sethupathy (Kamal Haasan) is an honest and upright police officer. When he arrests four bigwigs Dharmaraj (Nagesh), Francis Anbarasu (Delhi Ganesh), Nallasivam (Nasser) and Satyamoorthy (Jaishankar), they escape justice easily and return to take revenge. They kill him and poison his wife (Srividya).
