Synopsis
The story revolves round a con man Sanju (Sanjay Dutt) who has a kind heart. He gets into a fight with Jogia Seth (Paresh Rawal), a smuggler whom he owes Rs. 50 lakhs. Sanju has to make the money in a month if he wants save himself and Gudia, an orphan who becomes a hostage. At this moment Natwar (Johny Lever) comes to Sanju's rescue. Natwar advises Sanju to go into the Chaudhary household as Sanju Shastri and squander the money from them. As Sanju has no other choice, he decides to enter the Chaudhary Villa as their NRI relative. Sanju starts befriending the members of the Chaudhary family. The Chaudhary Parivar has three brothers. The elder one is Dilip (Om Puri), who is an honest man and takes care of the family business. Mahesh (Ashok Saraf) is the second one who is a gambler. The third, Satish (Jatin Kanakia) has the habit of forgetting things and is absent minded.Acteurs

The affable Nandu (Sanjay Dutt), a small-time crook who is hired to deliver a mysterious package to a notorious criminal named Pinky (Paresh Rawal). Bien que celle-ci ait toujours fait de son mieux pour respecter les souhaits de ses oncles, elle trouve cette fois qu’ils vont trop loin et décide de partir seule en voyage en Suisse. Raja Oberoi (Salman Khan) qui participe au même voyage tombe amoureux de Sapna mais celle-ci ne semble pas partager les mêmes sentiments. Mais lorsque Raja lui vient en aide, Sapna réalise qu’elle l’aime et tous deux décident de se marier en Inde. Dès leur retour au pays, le père de Raja (Kader Khan) se rend chez les trois oncles de Sapna pour demander sa main mais il ne peut garantir que son fils répondra aux exigences des trois oncles en se montrant sportif, pieux et moderne.

Bombay City lives in fear of a notorious thief who calls himself Chindi Chor (Gulshan Grover), and steals whenever and whatever he desires without any regard to security, and police protection. When Ghoshal (Ashish Vidyarthi) announces the exhibition and subsequent auction of Emperor Babushah (also played by Gulshan Grover)'s crown, Chindi challenges him that he is going to steal this priceless crown, and Ghosal accepts the challenge, and hires private security guards. Chindi carries out the theft, and two of the security guards, Vikram (Mohammad Iqbal Khan) and Ajay (Anuj Sawhney), and an accomplice, John D'Souza (Paresh Rawal), become prime suspects, and are on the run. They must apprehend Chindi and recover the crown to absolve themselves of this crime. While being chased by security guards, the trio crash into a wall, and are transported back to the 10th century, straight into the palace of Emperor Babushah himself. The trio think they are on the sets of a Bollywood movie, and take nothing seriously, until they are imprisoned. It is then the hapless trio realize that they must not only escape, but must also take the crown, back with them to the 21st century to absolve themselves of this crime. They do realize that only a miracle can get them back to the 21st century.

Fortunately, before his arrest Shyam manages to hide the diamonds at a nearby construction site, intending to return for it as soon as he gets out of prison.
