Kunjikoonan is a 2002 Malayalam film, made in India, by Sasi Shanker and starring Dileep and Navya Nair. Dileep played dual roles in this movie. Dileep won Asianet Film Awards for Best actor
This movie was later remade to Tamil as Perazhagan, starring Surya Sivakumar and Jyothika. It was also remade to Kannada as Manmatha in 2006.
Synopsis
The story revolves around Kunjan (Dileep), a village youth who is sympathized for his hunchback looks but is lauded for selfless service to others. He covers up his handicap with humor. Unmindful of his looks, Kunjan goes around seeking a suitable bride, with the help of his friend (Cochin Haneefa). Brushing aside many an insult hurled at him, he carries on.Acteurs

Unnikrishnan (Dileep) owns an old bus, received as a compensation for his father's road accident and he is facing lots of consequences due to the pathetic condition of the bus. He sold many valuable things to maintain this bus. His friend Sundareshan (Harisree Asokan) was his only companion and the cleaner of the bus. A mouse had eaten the passport of Sundareshan and had spoiled his chances of going abroad. Some part of the film's comedy involves Sundareshan running behind this mouse for his revenge. A live TV show, in which Unni bad mouth of a Traffic Sub Inspector, Veerappan Kurup (Cochin Haneefa) lands him in more trouble, when the former commands Unni to leave the city with the bus. Sreedhara Kaimal, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, and advocate and well wisher tries to him help him with a bank loan to run a mobile kitchen (Tattukada) from his bus.

The story starts when Soloman(Dileep) and his sister travel to kannadahalli to meet two retired teachers. He reaches the house on top of a hill-'Swargam' where he finds two old women who live alone with a cook and a home nurse to look after them. Manu Varma (Dileep) lands in Bombay to join an IT firm Quadra Infortek as executive assistant to C.M.O Priya.S. Nair (Mamta Mohandas).
