Sachidanandan (Dileep) runs an antique shop in the Jewish street at Kochi. He is famous for old Gramophone records. Jennifer (Meera Jasmine), Pattu Set (Oduvil Unnikrishnan), ‘Saigal’ Yousuf and Tabla Bhaskaran (Salim Kumar) are Sachi's fathers close friends. Sachi’s father was Raveendranathan (Murali) who was a great music director who died leaving him with a lot of musical instruments and some gramophone records. Sachi hates music, as he believes that his father has not made any money out of it. Aryadevi, a famous singer, who has been given her first break by Raveendran, comes to Kochi from Bombay with her daughter Pooja (Navya Nair).

Anjali (Manju Warrier) is the third daughter of a music teacher. She lives with her sisters (Mohini and Chippy) and grandmother (Lakshmi Krishnamurthy). Her life changes when Gopi (Dileep) moves to his brother's (N. F. Varghese) house as her neighbor. At first they dislike each other, but eventually they fall in love. However, she has a problem with their marriage since she has two elder unmarried sisters. Gopi finds a groom for Anjali's mute sister (Mohini), but the marriage does not work out. Balakrishnan (Mukesh) is a heart patient. He urgently needs a heart transplant and luckily he gets the heart of Aby Mathew (Jayaram) who was dead a few moments ago. After the operation, Balakrishnan discovers that he can see Aby Mathew while nobody else can. Aby Mathew is now a ghost and he wants to bring his killers in front of the law. He takes Balakrishnan's help and start investigating. At first, nobody is ready to believe Balakrishnan as no one believes in ghosts. Balakrishnan also takes the help of Sub Inspector Damu (Sreenivasan) who also at first does not believe him. Balakrishnan discovers that Aby Mathew was murdered by his adopted brother and confidant Alex Chandanavelil (Saikumar) to take over his business and that the lives of Aby's wife (Maathu)and mother (Kaviyoor Ponnamma) are also in danger. The rest of the plot is Balakrishnan's attempt to save them.
