The Metro is a 2011 Malayalam action thriller film directed by Bipin Prabhakar starring Sharath Kumar, Bhavana, Nivin Pauly, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Suresh Krishna, Bhagath Manuel, Biyon Gemini and Arun. It is an anthology film based on three separate incidents that take place in Kochi. The film is produced by Dileep under his Grand Productions.
Synopsis
The film is based on three separate incidents that take place in Kochi. The first one involves the murder of a young politician, Jaimy Padamadan, which is being investigated by Jacob Alexander (Sharath Kumar). The murder occurs during an election season and the main suspect in the case is a local don named Paruthikkadan (Suresh Krishna). The investigation is affected due to his political influences.Acteurs

Set in the forests of Wayanad, Ezhamathe Varavu is a multilayered story that delineates the link between man and nature. Varun Blake is an Indian-born Atlanta police detective that is deeply affected by various incidents in his life like the loss of his biological family in India, the move to a predominantly white school in The States, and the death of his partner. He develops into a temperamental and disturbed man, forcing his Indian wife, Roshni to divorce him and move out of their home with their daughter. Varun then gets into a complicated rebound relationship with a local news reporter, Kate. After gaining American citizenship, Roshni gets a job at a newly outsourced Indian company based in Atlanta called InfoTech. She soon discovers that the company's young but successful director is her childhood friend, Krish Hebbar. The two start seeing each other outside the office, much to Varun's dismay since he still has feelings for his ex-wife. Things take a turn for the worst when several Indian-born young men working for outsourced companies have been found murdered by a professional serial killer. The only link is that all the murder victims knew Krish. Varun brings him in for questioning but does not have enough evidence to arrest him. At around the same time, Krish's true colours are revealed when he blackmails his boss into giving him a promotion, forcing Roshni to leave him on the night he plans to propose. After more investigation, Varun learns that the real murderer is a former soldier who was fired from several jobs who were then taken by Indian immigrants. The soldier comes for Krish, who took over his job several years ago.He is finally saved by Varun. In the end, Krish marries Roshni and they move back to India to work for the Indian branch of their company to be closer to family.

The story is set in an engineering college, where Umesh (Nivin Pauly) is studying. Umesh is a carefree engineering student, who has 42 back papers to clear. His close pals are Shaji (Aju Varghese) and Thankaprasad (Neeraj Madhav). Madhavankutty (Sreenivasan) is a schoolmaster in a remote village. He is famous among students and his friends but his wife (Rajsri) keeps complaining about not helping her in house. The village is identity-less as the title suggests. So, when a theft happens in a moneylender's shop, everyone around is baffled. It gives sleepless nights to the panchayat president (Nedumudi Venu) and the police officer in charge of the area (Innocent). As they have no inkling about who the culprit may be, they device a plan to catch someone with a previous record. Madhavankutty is the sole eye witness as the shop is visible from the place where he lives. A major part of the story is devoted to showing how Madhavankutty dodges the pressure tactics of the police and counters their arguments. But after this incident, people start moving away from him and the film is about how the incident changes his life.

The story takes place in a remote village where the majority of the people are Christians. Solomon (Dileep), the son of GeeVarghese sexton (Vijayaraghavan), a simple soul who is quiet in nature and fears virtually everything around, thus earning the nickname Kunjaadu (little lamb). His mother, Mary (Vinaya Prasad),was Ittichan's (Innocent) (a rich landlord) crush. He named his daughter Mary (Bhavana) after Solomon's mother. He wanted Solomon to love his daughter dearly and then he would marry her to some other person so that he gets to know the pain that he felt when he lost his lover. He promises the church that he will give another cross made out of gold to the church if Solomon marries some other girl but if he wants to marry his daughter then Solomon must give a cross to church. Mary (Bhavana) has been in love with Solomon right from their childhood days. Meanwhile, a man (Biju Menon) with rugged looks comes to Solomon's house and Solomon, who is overjoyed at getting some fearless company, gets the man accepted by his whole family under the guise that he is his long-lost brother Jose. He does so much for the family and gets involved in agriculture and develops the families living. Later, Solomon finds that there is more to his so-called brother than he thought initially,where he has killed a girl and was imprisoned for 7 years. Finally he finds that Jose has stolen the cross and hid it in Solomon's land 7 years ago and came again to take it. Solomon warns his family that even if is their brother, he should be watched or else he'll burn down the house. Their parents don't take it seriouly but later when the family is away, Jose burns the house down and everyone thinks it is Solomon who did it. Solomon later finds out that Jose's old friend who also wants the golden cross was the one who killed the girl, who was Jose's wife. A fight occurs between Solomon and both the thieves. Jose's friend get smashed down and rings the church bell telling that he got cross and saves Jose by telling that he was the one who help him capture the thief, and because Solomon always considered him as a brother. everyone becomes happy and Ittichan gives his daughter's hand to Solomon.
