The film was written and directed by Stan Foster, and stars LeToya Luckett, Durrell "Tank" Babbs, Clifton Powell, Gregory Alan Williams, Rae'Ven Larrymore Kelly, Kiki Sheard, Sharif Atkins, Tammy Townsend, and Essence Atkins. The film was released to theaters on January 29, 2010 by Warner Premiere.
Synopsis
Small-town preacher's kid Angie King leaves the church and her Augusta, GA home to pursue a dream of singing stardom. Luckett plays Angie, the daughter of a stern but loving bishop, whose attraction to the hunky star (Tank) of a traveling gospel show takes her on the road…and into romance, heartbreak and the realization that happiness may lie in the home she left behind.Acteurs

Michelle Jordan (Destiny Edmond) is a young energetic 8-year-old girl whose mother, Cassy Jordan (Loretta Devine), goes after man after man, neglecting her child who has never met her father. On her way to beginning that new life, she runs into an old childhood friend named Todd(Michael Boatman), who gives her a ride to the halfway house where she will be living with a friend, Nicole(Idalis DeLeon), who will help her to get her life back on track. Unfortunately, on her way to starting her life over, she runs into some familiar roadblocks such as Reggie, her mother, and Pervis(Sean Blakemore), her ex-pimp and drug supplier, and she begins to spiral downwards again. This time, though, she is invited to a revival, and people like Bishop T.D. Jakes (who appears as himself), her godmother Twana (Debbie Morgan), her friend Nicole, and Todd try to help her maintain herself along the right path.

Leo, the main character, is a Holocaust survivor who suffers from total amnesia. When he immigrates to the U.S. he manages to find a job as a hotel desk clerk. When he accepts a drink in the hotel bar, he suddenly starts singing, amazing those around him—and himself—with his magnificent voice. Taking advantage of his gift, he begins singing in nightclubs. Eventually, with the help of a psychiatrist and partly as a result of a blow to the head during a mugging, his memories begin to return, and he realizes that he is the son of a great Jewish Hazzan (Cantor) in Europe. As memories of his parents, who perished in the Holocaust, return to him, he abandons his nightclub career to follow his father's footsteps as a synagogue cantor. The final scene shows Leo (who now remembers that his real name is "David") singing during a synagogue service.
