Pyaar Ke Side Effects (Hindi: प्यार के साइड इफेक्ट्स) and (English: The Side Effects of Love) is a 2006 Bollywood romantic comedy film. It was produced under the banner of Pritish Nandy communications and was written and directed by first time director Saket Chaudhary. Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose played the lead cast. The film is a romantic comedy, and portrays the intricacies of a modern relationship. A sequel, Shaadi Ke Side Effects, was released in 2014 with Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar in the lead roles.
Synopsis
Sid (Rahul Bose) plays a short, thirtyish DJ, who finds himself playing music at Trisha's (Mallika Sherawat's) marriage to Vivek (Jas Arora) in Delhi. However, he witnesses her fight her sense of responsibility and duty towards her parents and the groom, and runs away.Acteurs

Debu (Rahul Bose) is a 32-year-old advertising agent, but has a serious problem in that he is still a virgin. He meets Baba Hindustani (Vijay Raaz) in a hotel who promises to cure him of the teasing he gets from being a virgin. He later meets Nitin Kapoor, a film-maker (Saurabh Shukla) who later films him as he works out in the gym and other physical activities. Unaware of what is happening, Kapoor edits the film in such a way to give the impression of Debu as having sex. The film is released and becomes a box office hit and Debu quickly becomes a sex symbol. When the Kalakar Theatre Company, a theatre group in Goa, attempts to stage a political drama, the local authorities close down the play and force them to perform a more traditional play, a stage version of Mughal-E-Azam. The company then discovers that an underworld don is engineering a bomb blast to shake confidence in the Indian government. The drama company forms a plan to save the entire city from the blast. The actors, led by their producer Uday (Paresh Rawal), are assisted by RAW agent Arjun Rastogi (Rahul Bose) in their efforts to foil the bombing. Arjun falls in love with Uday's wife, Shabnam (Mallika Sherawat) who also becomes involved with an ISI agent (Kay Kay Menon). Performing multiple roles in disguise, the characters eventually save the entire nation from the bomb blast.

The story is based on five friends: two young couples Nandini (Gul Panag) and Navin (Purab Kohli), Yash (Neil Bhoopalam) and (Gunjan Bakshi), plus their mutual buddy, the hugely overweight Sudeep (Ranvir Shorey). Nandini and Navin are about to get married when disaster strikes. On their way home from Navin's bachelor party, the three boys — Navin, Yash, and Sudeep — are involved in a car crash where one of them is killed. An angel named Vijay (Brijendra Kala) escorts Navin to heaven. But when Navin wakes up in heaven, he discovers to his horror that through a clerical error Vijay had collected the wrong soul from the accident site: it was Sudeep, not Navin, who was destined to have died in the car crash! Navin makes a scene in the overcrowded waiting room of heaven and demands that he be returned to earth, and to his loved ones. But by this time Navin's body back on earth has already been destroyed. So the angel Vijay arranges for Navin's soul to return to earth into Sudeep's body. This film is about how Navin (Purab Kohli) returns to earth and has to woo his beloved fiancée Nandini all over again ... now trapped in the body of "Fatso" Sudeep (Ranvir Shorey).

Sunil Arora and his wife Malti with their son Avi lead a typical middleclass life in Mumbai metro. Having completed 10 years of marriage, Sunil feels he is getting old and is not able to satisfy his wife's advances in bedroom. The story continues from the previous film. The four good-for-nothing friends Roy (Deshmukh), Adi (Warsi), Manav (Jaaferi) and Boman (Chaudhary), are still conning people for a living. One day, they see their enemy Kabir (Sanjay Dutt) driving the luxurious Mercedes Benz, and disguise themselves to find out the secret behind his success. They then blackmail him into making them his business partners, but little do the four idiots know that Kabir and his wife Kamini (Sherawat) along with his sister Kiya (Ranaut) have an agenda of their own. Kabir connects them with an investor named Bata Bhai (Satish Kaushik) who is also a part-time don. The four friends steal Bata Bhai's money, and the money is then stolen by Kabir and his family. Kabir leaves the country along with his family, and leaves the four idiots to get killed by Bata Bhai. However, the four friends leave the city and manage to track Kabir down in Macau. They make a plan to ruin Kabir's happiness and take their money back by going in disguise. Roy cons Kiya by pretending to be in love with her, whilst Adi pretends to be Kabir's secretary. Boman poses as a woman in love with Kabir to break his relationship. Manav poses as various characters. Though, Kabir, Kamini, and Kiya have their own plan. They caught the four of them in their act.
