Swami is a 2007 Indian Hindi drama film, directed and also choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and Screenplay Muazzam Beg. The main cast consists of Juhi Chawla and Manoj Bajpai. In a first of its kind attempt, the background music score of Swami was recorded before shooting the film.
The music of this Hindi film is by Nitz 'N' Sony (Nitin Arora & Sony Chandy). Nitz 'N' Sony are the First Music Composers in the history of World Cinema, to have recorded the Background Music Score of a Movie, even before the film was shot. Also, they are the first one's to have recorded a Folk Ganpati Mandal (The Best in Maharashtra), live in 5.1 channels, overnight in an open-air makeshift studio, constructed specifically in an open ground in Film City Mumbai; for the movie Swami. This is the only 5.1 recording of a Folk Ganpati Mandal ever done. The Music of the film has been incorporated in a U.S film school curriculam as well, while drawing immense critical acclaim from music critiques worldwide. The film has a certain innocence about it, a high emotional connect, as well as a deep running spiritual quotient; which earned it huge critical acclaim. It was the debut movie of ace Choreographer Ganesh Acharya & hence credited as, "A film Choreographed by Ganesh Acharya". It is also one of the finest films in the career of Manoj Bajpai & Juhi Chawla.
Synopsis
The plot of "Swami" revolves around a common man's story. The title is based on the name of the main protagonist in the movie, Swami (Manoj Bajpai). The story throws light on day-to-day life of a common man's dreams. Swami is a poor labourer who works as a mechanic in an automobile shop and hardly earns a living. Swami, after his marriage with Radha, (Juhi Chawla) moves to Mumbai from his hometown, where Radha gives birth to a baby boy. The couple name him Anand. Anand establishes intelligence and wisdom at an early age and the couple is delighted at the intelligence of their young son. As time passes, the couple realises the importance of studies and come to know that a person can earn a good living in America, but proper education is required to go to America. Radha wants her son, Anand, to fulfill this dream for her. The couple tries to get Anand admitted to one of the best schools in town, where Anand is initially denied admission, as Swami and Radha are not very highly educated. Young Anand then himself speaks with the Principal and reveals the dream of his parents and requests her to give admission to him. The principal, moved by Anand's innocence, gives him admission.Acteurs

Le roi et sorcier Kans règne en tyran sur le royaume de Mathura et ambitionne de conquérir le monde. Pour mettre fin à son règne sanguinaire, les dieux décident d'incarner sur Terre Vishnu, qui naît sous la forme de Krishna, fils de Devaki, la sœur de Kans. Le bébé, neveu du tyran, vient au monde dans le village de Vrindavan, où il est adopté par le chef du village, Nanda, qui l'élève au même titre que son propre fils un peu plus âgé, Balram. Krishna grandit dans la bonne humeur et devient un petit garçon facétieux, qui en fait voir de toutes les couleurs à sa mère et est toujours prêt à jouer un tour aux gopis, les gardiennes de vaches qui le surveillent. Mais il se signale très tôt par ses exploits miraculeux, et la musique de sa flûte charme hommes et bêtes. Krishna se lie surtout avec une petite fille de son âge, Radha (sa future épouse dans la mythologie hindoue), mais se lie aussi d'amitié plusieurs garçons, dont Madhumangal. Il peut aussi compter sur l'aide du singe Dabiloba et de l'agnelle Hamsi. Krishna doit bientôt venir en aide aux gens du royaume et affronter les périls surnaturels que lui envoie Kans, principalement les démons Trinavarta, Bakasur et Putna. Mais, voyant Krishna vaincre sans peine chacun de ses envoyés, Kans finit par le défier en duel dans le colisée de sa capitale. Plusieurs chansons ponctuent le film.

The plot is linked with the previous film Bhoothnath. When Bhoothnath, although his real name in the two films is Kailash Nath, (Amitabh Bachchan) enters the Bhoothworld, (a ghosts' world) he is mocked and questioned about his abilities as a ghost as he was unsuccessful to scare any child. To redeem himself, he returns to Earth where he tries his best to scare children but is unsuccessful with his attempts. However, a boy named Akhrot (Parth Bhalerao) can see him in his true form. Akhrot is not scared of Bhoothnath, but helps him to scare a few children. In return, he asks Bhoothnath to act scared of him and to run away from a haunted house while he chants mantras in front of his friends, so that his friends can accept him in their cricket team. Bhoothnath decides to help him further by helping him earn money by giving ghosts living in under-construction high rises peace by fulfilling the wishes they were still staying back on Earth as ghosts for. In the process, they come to know why the ghosts died, and help their families get insurance money by scaring corrupt insurance officers. In the process, he gets to know about Bhau (Boman Irani), a former criminal who is now a corrupt politician. After having seen the amount of corruption in India and encouraged by Akhrot, Bhoothnath decides to contest the upcoming elections. Soon, the rivalry between Bhoothnath and Bhau heats up, to the extent that Bhoothnath sacrifices his powers to win. One day before the elections, a rally is to be held by Bhoothnath to encourage a high turnout on election day. Bhau's men threaten to kill Akhrot unless he prevents the rally from happening, but Akhrot refuses and is ready to face the consequences. On the day of the rally, Bhau's men injure Akhrot grievously for his non-compliance, which makes Bhoothnath leave his rally to be with Akhrot in the hospital. He goes to the Bhoothworld and begs for Akhrot's life. They tell him that if Bhoothnath wins the election, they will spare Akhrot's life. Meanwhile, Bhau uses Bhoothnath's absence at the rally to his advantage and tries to influence the audience to vote for him. However, on election day, the majority of the public voted for Bhoothnath. The next day, Bhootnath sees Akhrot's heartbeat rising and realises that he won the election. The film ends with Akhrot regaining consciousness and everybody celebrating the success of Bhoothnath.

The film opens with the murder of business magnate Amit Singhania (Bakul Thakker) who lives a wealthy lifestyle along with his wife, Ria Singhania (Shamita Shetty), in a spacious bungalow. He runs a company, Spykar Jeans. Ria is asked to co-operates with the Police, who suspect her for foul play as she is the sole proprietor of Amit's business and wealth. The police also suspect Amit's subordinate, Siddharth Sardesai (Parmeet Sethi), who may have killed Amit, who was also having an affair with Sonia Sharma (Sonia Kapoor), who works for an ad agency run by Diwakar. Ria meets with Aditya (Manoj Bajpai), who also works for the same ad agency, and is attracted to him, both get have sex, but Aditya, who is married to Neha (Shilpa Shetty), and has a school-going son, Arya, decides to break off this relationship much to the chagrin of Ria, who decides to teach Aditya a lesson - and she does this by acquiring the ad agency where Aditya works, and is all set to turn Aditya's life upside down. Aditya confronts her and returns home in a drunken state with blood on his clothes. Shortly thereafter Aditya is arrested by Police Inspector Kelly - and the charge is murder - that of Ria Singhania.
