Synopsis
Ce film parle d'un homme d'affaires vivant dans la ville de Chennai avec son fils Vishnu. Ce dernier rencontre dans un village une femme, fille d'un homme d'affaires qui est aussi de Chennai, ils tombent amoureux et se fiancent. Mais quelques jours plus tard Vishnu adopte une attitude extrêmement étrange, il tente de violer sa fiancée, sa cousine, et il tente aussi de tuer son propre père.Acteurs

Naattamai (Sarathkumar) is a very kind-hearted, disciplined man. He sits on the ancestral throne in his village to do justice (similar to panchayat). He hears all the cases and gives solutions and punishments to the wrong-doers. His wife, Khushboo admires and respects him a lot. His brothers Pasupathi (sarathkumar) and Raja Ravindra fear for him and also have a lot of respect for him as he has brought them up as his children. The young Sarathkumar marries Meena, daughter of an industrialist. She at first never liked Naatamai and her husband for being so timid before his brother but later transforms after knowing his greatness from her father.Raja Ravindra loves his paternal cousin(Ponnambalam)'s daughter (Sanghavi). In the flashback, Periya Naatamai(Vijayakumar) father of naatamai orders Ponnambalam to marry his servant's daughter whom he raped, though he is his sister's son. His brother-in-law shoots at him as he is disappointed by his verdict.Enraged Periya Naatamai gives his final verdict before dying to abandon their family and whoever visits his house will receive the same punishment and also not to share even a glass of water with them. Ponnambalam from then builds envy on his uncle's family and waits for an opportunity to take revenge on them. He plans to bring a lady (Subhashri) as a teacher to the school in the village and tells her to make young Sarathkumar fall for her. She does so to save her father who is in the hands of Ponnambalam. He kills her and makes the villagers believe that Sarathkumar has done this. Naatamai sentences 10 years of exile for his brother's family. Now Ponnambalam comes to know of his daughter's love and tries to kill Raja Ravindra with the help of his goons. Sarathkumar goes in rescue of him and pregnant Meena goes to Naatamai to convey this message. Manorama rushes to Nattamai and reveals the truth and tells that he punished his brother without committing any mistake. Naatamai takes revenge on Ponnambalam and dies on knowing that he gave a wrong verdict. Now younger Sarathkumar is shown taking the ancestral throne from his brother.

Chinnaiya (Sarath Kumar) is a faithful servant in the house of a rich man (Vijayakumar). The rich man is angry with his elder daughter (Sitara), who yearns to mend their relationship. His second daughter, Prabhavathy (Simran Bagga), who arrives from America, falls in love with Chinnaiya but after gaining his trust, accuses him of attempting to rape her. Turns out that she did this to try to unite her sister's family with her father and send Chinnaiya out since it was Chinnaiya's father who killed her mother. So Chinnaiya is kicked out of the house. Natarajan (Delhi Ganesh) is a Brahmin house-owner near the Parthasarathy Temple looking for a right tenant for the upper portion of his house. He is very protective of his college going beautiful daughter Gayathri (Kanika). Since he often fears that the prospective tenant might romance with his daughter he filters all the people who come asking for the house. L'histoire se base sur la famille Kapoor. Daboo et Chintu sont frères et se détestent l'un et l'autre, leurs femmes et leurs filles se détestent aussi. Jai cherche à se venger et demande à Jolly, le fils de JD, s'il voudrait accepter de se marier avec la fille de Chintu puis de rompre lors du mariage, mais il refuse car il a déjà une petite amie. Jolly pense alors à Max, un ami de la fac et connu pour être un grand voleur qui se fera passer pour le fils de JD. Mais ils se trompent de maison et vont chez Dabboo. Jai ne sait plus quoi faire et cherche toujours à se venger, Jolly suggère alors Sunny, un autre ami de la fac, mais ils savent que Max et ce dernier sont ennemis depuis leur dispute à la fac et que les maisons de Dabboo et de Chintu sont côte à côte. Alors pour éviter qu'ils ne se rencontrent, Jolly reste avec Sunny et Jai avec Max. Mais lorsque les 2 familles se retrouvent chez JD, les choses se dégénèrent.
