Nadeem-Shravan (sometimes credited as Nadeem Shravan) are a music director duo in the Bollywood film industry of India. The duo derives its name from the first names of its two principals, Nadeem Saifi and Shravan Rathod.
Nadeem-Shravan were two of the most successful music directors of the 1990s till mid-2000s. They are known for their catchy songs that feature a strong rhythm (often accentuated by Latin percussion instruments) and great melodies. Singers Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik and Hindi playback singers such as Sonu Nigam, Abhijeet, SP Balasubramanyam, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sadhana Sargam, Anuradha Paudwal and many others have sung under their baton. Vateran singer Mohd. Rafi also sang for them in their film Dangal.
They composed soundtracks for many films, including Aashiqui (1990), Saajan (1991), Deewana (1992), Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993), Dilwale (1994), Raja (1995), Barsaat (1995), Agni Sakshi (1996), Jeet (1996), Raja Hindustani (1996), Pardes (1997), Sirf Tum (1999), Dhadkan (2000), Kasoor (2001), Hum Ho Gaye Aapke (2001), Raaz (2002), Dil Hai Tumhaara (2002), Dil Ka Rishta (2003), Andaaz (2003), Tumsa Nahi Dekha (2004), Bewafaa (2005) and many others.
Their music for Raaz was even appreciated by Sir Paul McCartney.

Anjali (Rimi Sen) has run away from a small village to get a job in Mumbai, where she hopes to make enough money to pay off the debts her family owes their landlord or else she will have to marry the landlord's son, Raja (Rajpal Yadav). Once she arrives in the city, the only way she can find cheap lodging is by pretending to be married to a total stranger, Nandu,(Aftab Shivdasani) an aspiring musician, an arrangement thought up by local milkman and fixer, Bholu (Amin Gazi). Arjun Singh (Aftab Shivdasani) and the Srivastav brothers, Raghu (Emraan Hashmi) and Shekhar (Rahul Dev), are neighbors in a gangster-prone area in Mumbai. When Arjun's union leader father is killed, the brothers urge him to avenge his death. They get a sword and find the killers and kill them. Arjun is the prime suspect in this homicide and the brothers get him to run to Delhi, where he begins a new life as a Real Estate Agent, Mohan Kumar Sharma. Years later, Arjun returns to Mumbai and is welcomed with open arms by Raghu and Shekhar, who are now leading gangsters by their own right. Arjun also renews his romance with the estranged Srivastavs' sister, Sanjana (Bipasha Basu). Sanjana would like Arjun and her brothers to go straight, and Arjun agrees with her and he starts to work on Raghu - the more flexible of the two - and partially succeeds - especially since Raghu is romantically involved with a school-teacher, who will have nothing to do with him unless he gives up all criminal activity. Raghu is seriously considering going straight when Shekhar gives him the devastating news, that Arjun is not who he claims to be - but a plainclothes police officer, who is out to get them by hook or by crook.

Rohan Khanna (Akshaye Khanna) is a jobless graduate living with his grandfather (Alok Nath) and his mother (Moushumi Chatterjee). Rohan has been tirelessly looking for a decent job without success. One day, Rohan's neighbour, Ranjit arrives. He lives in America, owns a motel, a perfect living and is married to an American woman. He wishes to keep his parents in America to live in peace. After listening to Rohan's desire for a job, he suggests that Rohan should also move to America. Looking at Ranjit's overnight success, Rohan is immediately persuaded. He tells his mother and grandfather of his wish and they are abruptly reminded of Rohan's late father, Balraj Khanna (Rajesh Khanna) who left his wife and son for America after a bitter argument with his father. Do-gooder Deepak Rai (Sanjay Kapoor) comes across a stolen purse that contains education certificates belonging to a woman named Aarti. He mails them to her and they start a correspondence. Even though they have never seen each other, both feel an attraction. Aarti's sister and brother-in-law Nirmal (Tej Sapru) are encouraging to a certain extent. While Nirmal would prefer that Aarti marry Prem (Salman Khan), his wife wants Aarti to choose her own life partner. Aarti starts out on her journey to locate and meet Deepak. Kishorilal a fait carrière et fortune aux États-Unis. Sa femme est décédée cinq ans auparavant, lui laissant un seul et unique fils, Rajiv, lequel n'a jamais foulé sa terre d'origine. Il a aussi pris à sa charge son neveu, un jeune orphelin né en Inde et émigré aux États-Unis, Arjun, en phase de connaître le succès en tant que chanteur. Kishorilal se rend un jour en Inde chez un ami de longue date, Suraj, qui l'héberge au sein de son accueillante et attachante famille. Il est très rapidement porté par cette ambiance traditionnelle et ses valeurs, et est fasciné par l'innocence et la pureté d'âme de la belle Ganga, la fille de son ami. Kishorilal demande donc la main de Ganga à son ami, qui accepte malgré les réticences des femmes de la maison qui ne voulait pas voir la jeune fille partir pour les États-Unis. De retour aux États-Unis, Kishorilal demande à Arjun de l'aider à convaincre Rajiv d'épouser Ganga, car celui-ci risque de ne pas accepter une épouse si éloignée de son mode de vie. Arjun accepte et entreprend de persuader celui qu'il considère comme son frère. Rajiv consent à cette union après un bref séjour en Inde au cours duquel il se retrouve confronté à la rigidité et à la morale des patriarches de la famille de Ganga, à l'honnêteté et au dévouement excessif de la jeune femme, à l'hostilité des habitants du village vis-à-vis des immigrés... Ganga et lui retournent ensemble aux États-Unis pour célébrer très prochainement leur mariage, et à son tour Ganga se trouve face à des cas de figure inattendus : Rajiv boit, fume, a déjà eu des rapports sexuels avec son ancienne petite amie, qu'il continue de fréquenter... Bref, leurs tempéraments et leurs attentes sont littéralement opposés... Ganga de son côté s'est beaucoup attachée à Arjun.

Un univers de faste et d'abondance où seul le paraître et les mondanités sont de mise. Aarti désire un jour se rendre à Palankhet, le village où se sont connus ses parents... Elle s'y rend accompagnée de ses deux employées de maison (pour ne pas dire servantes)... vraiment particulières ! Un jeune chauffeur de taxi bourru, au cœur tendre, indépendant et accessoirement excellent chanteur, Raja Hindustani (Aamir Khan), les accompagne. Il s'est ainsi nommé parce qu'il est son propre maître, Raja, et Hindustani-Indien, car il ne se revendique d'aucune ethnie particulière (hindoue, musulmane, etc.). Raja est aussi un grand timide à cheval sur les principes... Le voyage dure un jour et il est convenu de faire un arrêt de nuit dans un hôtel. Mais les deux « drôles de dames » qui les accompagnent ont oublié de valider leur réservation, et Raja propose gentiment de les héberger.
