Nila Pennae (Moon Girl) is a 1990 Indian Tamil film directed by R. G. Elavalagan and produced by R. M. Veerappan. It stars Anand and Divya Bharti. The film was critically and financially unsuccessful, and is known as Bharti's only Tamil film.

Synopsis
Anand lives in the city and decides to stay in a village within a forest for some time. As he is very stressed due to the city life, he meets an old guru woman who creates a girl (Divya Bharti) for Anand. He falls in love immediately and so does the girl whom Anand calls Surya. The story begins with Arjun (Sathyaraj) being arrested for multiple crimes. In the past, Arjun was a happy-go-lucky young man. His brother (Delhi Ganesh), a factory's union leader, clashed with his superiors (M. N. Nambiar, Malaysia Vasudevan and Chitra Lakshmanan) for bonus. In the meantime, Arjun fell in love with Radha (Radha). To help the labourer, Arjun cheated the factory's owners as a fake income tax officer, he managed to take all their black money and he gave it to the labourers. Later, Arjun's brother, sister-in-law and his niece were killed. In anger, he tried to kill the culprit and failed. Siva Prasad (Captain Raju), Radha's brother, advised him to surrender but, as an innocent, he refused. However, Siva Prasad arrested him in surprise. Arjun was tortured and his head was shaved. Therefore, a bald Arjun comes to the court. Despite everything was against Arjun, the judge Ram Prakash (Sivaji Ganesan) feels that he is innocent. So Ram Prakash sentences that Arjun will be under house arrest in his isolated island. Along with Ram Prakash how Arjun kills the culprits forms the rest of the story.

Gopalakrishnan (Pandiarajan), a clever cook from Coimbatore, moves to an apartment in Chennai. He becomes quickly popular and appreciated among the apartment's women, however their husbands get jealous of Gopalakrishnan. Meanwhile, he falls in love with Usha (Kushboo). He decides to marry her with the support of his neighbours. After the marriage, Usha has just learned that Gopalakrishnan was already married. Gopalakrishnan got married with a girl (Sindhu) but she was already pregnant and she eloped with her lover that very evening. Usha is upset and refuses to live with him. Later, Gopalakrishnan finds a forsaken baby (by his ex-wife) in a dustbin and leaves the baby to an orphanage. Gopalakrishnan's father (Manivannan), an army officer, comes to live with his son and he helps his son to win back Usha's heart.

Obligé de fuir Thoothukudi, pour des raisons politiques et surtout, après avoir abattu un policier, meurtrier de son père, un activiste, le jeune Vélou (Kamal Hassan) finit par échouer à Bombay, dans un bidonville tamoul. Il décide d'y mettre un terme, le jour où, il supprime, dans le sang et la violence, un représentant de l'ordre corrompu et à l'origine de tous les malheurs. Il devient dès lors, Vélou-Nayagar, le "parrain-justicier" pour ses compatriotes, les protégeant, face à toutes formes d'injustice, durant plusieurs décennies, tel un ange exterminateur.. The film centres on Shashanka, a dacoit who starts off as a Robin Hood type before lapsing into mass, and merciless, killings. He then falls in love with the daughter of one of his captives, only to be spurned. The dejected dacoit commits suicide. Years later, the girl is reborn in Dubai, grows up, falls in love and is on the verge of getting married when she makes a visit to India, to the family's ancestral home. Disturbing thoughts, hallucinations and meetings with a bearded man who is, though she doesn't know it just yet, Shashanka reborn, mark the visit. The rest of the story traces Shashanka's intentions of trying to convince the girl of their previous life characters.

Seenu (Karthik) grows as an orphan and becomes a full-time stealer, he helps prisoners by solving their problems outside. One day, intrigued by a prisoner silence, Seenu asks him his problem. The prisoner is Adhiseshan (Devan), maternal uncle of Gayatri (Srinidhi), and he wants to save her life from her paternal uncle (Anandaraj) and her brother. Seenu promised him to solve his problem. Firstly, Gayatri avoids Seenu but she soon understands the conspiracy of Rajasekhar and she begin to be closed with Seenu. Adhiseshan reveals to Seenu after seeing the photo of Seenu's mother that he is his father. Happy, he brings Gayatri to Adhiseshan's home but they find him death. Gayatri's guardians borrows lot of money, so they are sent to jail, she cannot stay to her house so Seenu accommodates her. Seenu decided to earn money in the right way to realize Gayatri's dream : to become a Carnatic music singer. When she becomes a famous singer, she builds a new house and she reveals to Seenu that she's in love with Suresh (Siva), her hardcore fan. Suresh's father releases Rajasekhar to separate them before their marriage. Seenu manages to save them and the couple elope. To keep his neighbouring (Manorama) promise after her death, Seenu decide to carry the widow woman and her son.

Kuppusamy (Nassar), an innocent man, dreams to perform in Pandi's troupe. Pandi (Delhi Ganesh) is a respected male troupe leader, and the troupe performs in Hindu festivals. Baasi (Bala Singh) is expelled from the troupe for his bad behaviour. Finally, Pandi accepts Kuppusamy into his troupe. Ponnamma (Revathi), Pandi's daughter, a blind girl, falls in love with Kuppusamy. For some time, the festivals organizers prefer female dancers. Pandi dies during a stage performance and the troupe splits up. Kuppusamy leaves the village with Ponnamma to become a cinema actor. There, they meet Baasi and he accommodates them. Baasi rapes Ponnamma and kills her. Kuppusamy is sent to a mental hospital but he manages to escape. Kuppusamy is determined to take revenge.
