Albeli is a 1955 Hindi romantic drama film produced and directed by Devendra Goel. The film starred Geeta Bali in the title role of Albeli. It was produced under the Films And Televisions banner. The music director and lyricist was Ravi, who had made his debut as a composer with Goel's film Vachan released the same year as Albeli. The film besides Geeta Bali, co-starred Pradeep Kumar, Brijranjana Shukla, Om Prakash, Randhir, Johnny Walker and Tun Tun.
The film involves a girl infatuated by a theatre personality and her antics in trying to get his attention, to the extent of staging a false kidnapping, both falling in love midway through the drama. A side story focuses on the love affair and elopement of the heroine's sister.
Synopsis
Geeta and Rita are sisters of Mr. Verma, the owner of Nan Ching Chung hotel. Rita is in love with Brij and Geeta helps her elope and get married. Geeta is infatuated by Pradeep, a singer and musician. When she finds out he is in town she makes several attempts to meet him but fails. Pradeep meets Geeta when she is helping Rita elope and in some scuffle and misunderstanding he thinks Geeta is trying to escape some people out to get her. He helps take her to the police station where she claims to have been abducted by Pradeep himself. Mr. Verma arrives and fed up with his daughters antics he sends them to another town where they enroll in a school to learn music. The music teacher is Pradeep, a fact Geeta knew from before. She again helps her sister to go off on her honeymoon with her husband, while pretending to be Rita to keep up pretenses of her still being at the academy. Her masquerade leads to several funny situations in the film. Eventually the situation unravels, the father accepts Rita's wedding and Geeta and Pradeep are united.Acteurs

It is the story of rebirth of millionaire child Deepak Rai who accidentally shoots his friend, Suraj Prakash (Sanjay Khan) at the age of 10 and believing him to be dead, runs away from home. 14 years later, Deepak discovers that Suraj Prakash is not dead and decides to go back home with friend Kewal Sharma. On discovering that Deepak is a millionnaire, Kewal Sharma kills Deepak on the train journey to Deepak's home city (Anandgiri) and starts living Deepak's life. Doby, aged 5 by now, knows all about the house and the estate, although he has never been there before in his present life. Suraj Prakash and friend, Inspector Darshan (Rajendra Nath) figure out the mystery behind Doby's familiarity of the place and decide to collect enough evidence against Kewal Sharma to prove him guilty of his crime of murder and deceit.

Somna lives a poor lifestyle with her widowed mom, Leela, in the mountainous region of India and Nepal. She makes a living working on the apple farm of wealthy widower, Kailash Nath Kaushal. Before giving birth to her child, Ratna (Meena Kumari) loses her husband, and eventually gives birth to a son, Raju. Four years later, Dr. Anand, who treated her while she was giving birth to Raju (Honey Irani) re-enters her life and soon becomes a frequent visitor, much to the displeasure of Ratna's mother-in-law (Mumtaz Begum) and her husband's sister Bela, both of whom start maltreating her and making her life miserable. Anand stops visiting thereafter. Anand soon marries a nurse called Maya Verma (Minu Mumtaz). Maya is a squanderer, and her relationship with Anand falters. Moreover, he later finds out that she cannot conceive. When Anand's dad passes away, he leaves considerable wealth to Anand's child, including a fair monthly allowance. Maya plots with an advocate, S. Prakash (Sunder), who happens to be Bela's husband, to fabricate a story that Anand's father was mentally unbalanced while writing the testament. This plan fails, and along with her aunt, Nurse Sarla Verma (Nilambai), make a false statement claiming that Ratna's son is actually Anand's biological son, leading to their lawyer filing a custodial case in court.

The 16th century, the Malabar Coast. General Barbosa (KN Singh) signs a treaty with the queen (Sulochana) of a small state giving the Portuguese right to trade in exchange for military protection. With the help of the queen's nephew Jaswant (Ramsingh), he begins to meddle in the administration as well. He arrests merchant Ramzan Ali and his friend Narayan Das. Das' daughter Nisha (Geeta Bali) tries to save her father but is caught by Barbosa and both are sold to a cruel Portuguese pirate Cabral. Cabral kills Narayan Das. Nisha rouses her fellow slaves to revolt against Cabral and once Cabral is killed Nisha becomes a pirate queen pillaging all Portuguese ships in sight. One such ship includes heir to the throne Prince Ravi (Guru Dutt), a Portuguese woman Rosita (Kuldip Kaur) and a court astrologer (Johnny Walker). Nisha spares their lives as Ravi had saved her life earlier. They inevitably fall in love. Ravi joins the mutineers without revealing his identity. Back on shore, Ravi learns Jaswant is to be crowned king. Ravi is arrested and sentenced to death. Nisha saves him and they join forces with other local chiefs to defeat Barbosa.
