Synopsis
Rajvansh, a rich widower and young scientist rescues a woman named Anjali and marries her. She forces her husband to fulfill her maternal uncle's demands for money all time. Unwillingly he consents. On a rainy night, the highly reputed Dr. Anand is driving. He sees a woman standing in the road and gives her a lift. She introduces herself as Sandhya. As soon as she steps in the car, the wipers eerily stop working. He's even more spooked when the lady shows him the way when it isn't visible and guides him outside a cemetery. Anand (Rajesh Khanna) is a successful businessman with a dark side. He preys on nubile girls and rapes and kills them. These proceedings are video-recorded and watched by his adoptive father and mentor, another deranged woman-hater who, as with Anand, had a disillusioning experience with the female sex in his past. The old man stays holed up in a far corner of Aanand's mansion watching his son carry out what he is too infirm to do. The murdered girls are buried in Anand's garden and a rosebush is grown above.

A wealthy businessman Girdhari Lal is murdered by his cousin Dhanpat Rai (Bharat Kapoor) for the sake of wealth. Girdhari Lal's daughter Sapna (Sarika) is in love with Vinod (Deepak Parashar). This film is the third release of Holland-based Dr. Anil K. Mehta. The chief protagonists are Shivani [played by Manisha Koirala] and Aditya [played by Sanjay Kapoor], a married couple with 2 children, Tanwi Gouri Mehta and Anand Mehta. They are wealthy and live in a mansion. Their idyllic life is shattered with the arrival of Sonia, who has an affair with Adiyta. Eventually, Aditya leaves his family for Sonia, leaving the wife and two kids alone. When it is found out that Sonia is barren, Aditya demands custody of his children from Shivani and approaches the courts for a custody battle. Eventually, the courts rule against Shivani and award custody to Aditya and Sonia. The movie changes its ambience from the family dispute to one of suspense and horror shortly after.
