Arunpandian, Ramki, Nirosha and Sindhu in lead roles, with Nassar, Senthil, Srividya, Murali Kumar and Prabhakaran playing supporting roles. The film, produced by Aabavanan, had musical score by Gyan Varma and was released on 2 August 1990. The film has been dubbed in Hindi as Aakhri Sangam and in Telugu as Sahasa Ghattam.
Synopsis
Dr. Chandralekha (Srividya), a grieving mother, asks an ex-army man David Kumar (C. Arunpandian) to rescue her son Gunasekaran (Prabhakaran) who is locked-up in a military prison. But at the same time, the hideous criminal P. K. Roy (Nassar) appoints the fugitive Pratap (Ramki) to kidnap Gunasekharan from the prison. Both leave for their missions respectively, not knowing what surrender holds in his past and the fugitive takes this personal.Acteurs

Raghu (Rahman), an atheist archaeologist, and his father (Vijayachander) went to an isolated village for research. During the research, his father disappears mysteriously and Raghu finds out a strange prophecy : God will come to earth on Purnima day at the Nagakali Amman temple and the people who will submerge completely under the waterfall near the Nagakali Amman temple will be cured of any disease. His colleague Pathma (Vinodhini) informs her blind friend Divya (Gouthami) who is journalist and the news reaches the public. Pathma is in love with Naveen (Riyaz Khan), who is in the final stages of cancer. Soon, an atheist terrorist group, led by Saravanan (Ramki), try to destroy the temple. Saravanan has a tragic past : his sister and his brother-in-law were a devotee who were brutally killed by the temple's donor. In the meantime, the police officer Hari (Nassar), Divya's brother, is charged with eradicating the terrorist group. Pathma believes in this prophecy, so she gets married to Naveen and takes him to the temple. Divya compels Hari to come with him to restore her sight and he agrees to do so. Few days before the God's arrival, the Nagakali Amman temple is overcrowded. A race against the clock starts.

Arvind who came to the city from a rural area, is a naive employee in a company. He cannot tolerate corruption, bribert, breaking rules, lavishness and the urban culture of youth in cities. He is caught by traffic police for a minor mistake through not of his own. Although he has all documents with him, he is asked a bribe by traffic policeman. Rishi, jeune ingénieur citadin, opte pour un mariage arrangé avec une villageoise, Senbagam. Lors de leur rencontre, au cours d'un des rares moments de relative intimité, Senbagam supplie Rishi de refuser ce mariage car elle en aime un autre. Elle n'ose l'avouer à sa famille, terriblement fière et honorée par cet éventuel mariage. Alors que Rishi doit faire part de sa décision face à toute la famille, il croise le regard de Roja, la jeune sœur de Senbagam, et annonce que c'est elle qu'il veut épouser. Le monde de Roja s'écroule. En effet, elle a toujours affirmé qu'elle ne se marierait pas et ferait des études. De plus elle se sent coupable, croyant avoir volé le fiancé de sa sœur. Dans ces conditions les débuts du jeune couple sont difficiles, mais cela s'arrange et tous deux partent pour le Cachemire où Rishi doit effectuer une mission pour l'armée. Leur bonheur ne semble pas connaître de limite dans cette région magnifique, quand soudain la réalité les rattrape : Rishi est enlevé par un groupe d'indépendantistes qui veut l'échanger contre leur leader emprisonné.
