It is produced by Swethalana, Varun, Teja, C. V. Raoa and C. Kalyan under the banners Sri Subha Swetha films and C. K. Entertainments. Sunil Kashyap composed the film's music and P.G. Vinda was the film's cinematographer. Production began on 25 February 2015 and principal photography began on 8 March 2015. The audio launch was held on 4 June 2015 and the film released on 12 June 2015. The title video song is revealed on June 1. On June 5 censor board gives U/A rating to the movie.

An auto driver, sees Mattu Bhai (Ashish Vidyarthi) murder a journalist. The auto driver manages to capture Mattu Bhai & his henchman, and hold them until the Police arrive. Afterwards, the auto driver returns home to his wife and son, Charan. Unfortunately, Mattu Bhai & his henchmen break into their house that night. The auto driver is killed and his wife is severely injured. Charan survives uninjured. Charan's mother is in a critical condition but he & his uncle don't have enough money to pay for her operation. Daya is an orphan who grows up learning that a police's life is a happy one with lots of money coming in the form of bribes which inspires him to become a police officer. After years, he becomes a corrupt, cunning, manipulative and ruthless sub inspector of police. Corrupt Central Minister (Rao Ramesh), is facing accusations over possessing black money of one hundred thousand crore, and money laundering it into Europe, through his un-suspecting daughter, Akanksha (Catherine Tresa), a psychology student who goes to Barcelona to pursue higher education. Akanksha finds a diary in her flat in Barcelona, and out of curiosity she starts reading the book which unfolds the romantic drama between Sanju Reddy (Allu Arjun) and Komali Shankaraabharanam (Amala Paul). Ravi (Ravi Teja) works as an assistant director and Narayana (M. S. Narayana) as co-director for director Idly Viswanath(Brahmanandam) in the Telugu film industry. L'action se passe à Chicago, le jeudi 6 juin 1929. Earl Williams est condamné à mort pour avoir tué un policier. Walter Burns, rédacteur en chef d'un journal, envoie Hildy Johnson faire un reportage sur sa pendaison, mais Hildy souhaite quitter le métier et annonce sa démission ainsi que son prochain mariage à Burns qui prend la chose assez mal. À la suite d'un concours de circonstances, Williams parvient à s'évader. Toute la police de Chicago le recherche et on croit l'apercevoir dans toute la ville, alors qu'en fait il n'a pu franchir l'enceinte de la prison. Pendant ce temps, un fonctionnaire fédéral apporte au maire la notification de sursis de Williams, signée par le gouverneur. Le maire la refuse, la considérant comme nulle et non avenue en raison de l'état de fuite de Williams. Ne pensant qu'à sa propre réélection, il donne aussi l'ordre d'abattre le fugitif sans sommation, et soudoie le messager fédéral en lui offrant une soirée dans un bordel chinois.

Vedam revolves around 5 principal characters. Vivek Chakravarthy (Manoj Manchu) is an upcoming rock star in Bengaluru who hails from a family of decorated army officers. His mother wants him to follow the same path but he isn't interested. He is about to give his first live concert on New Year's Eve with his band-mates in Hyderabad. However, Vivek is late to catch the flight and so the band is forced to travel by road. After sometime, one of their tyres get deflated. Not having a spare, the other friends go to get the tyre inflated leaving Vivek and Lasya (Lekha Washington) alone. Meanwhile, they are attacked by a Hindu racist group. However, they manage to get out of the mess with the help of a Sikh truck driver (who incidentally gets involved in an earlier altercation with Vivek). The band successfully reaches Hyderabad. However they suffer a minor accident there which involves a mother in labour. So Vivek and Lasya take her to a hospital nearby.
