Synopsis
Gautham Prabhakar (Vijay) meets Dr.Rajasekhar (Raghuvaran), a psychologist, his daughter Hema (Shalini) and her friends, Surya (Charle) & Chandru (Dhamu). He has memories of a girl named Gayathri (Kaveri), whom he met briefly and wishes to find again. After examining his subconscious mind, Dr.Rajasekhar finds out that Gautham is suffering from split personality and has forgotten a lot of things, including the details of Gayathri's disappearance. Dr.Rajasekhar finds out that Gautham is looking for Shanmugam and his two friends, who Gautham feels have killed Gayathri. Hema falls in love with Gautham. Because of the affection and care shown by his mother, Gautham slowly recovers all the missing details about why and how he got to where he is. After attempts at revenge, Gautham starts a new life with Hema gaining the acceptance his mother and her father.Acteurs

Jeevanandhan "Jeeva" (Vijay) is a very rich young man. Although his parents (Sivakumar and Srividhya) want him to settle down, he goes to another city to do his MBA and stays with friends. During this time, he meets Mini (Shalini) and they fall in love. She reciprocates his feelings, but trouble comes in the form of her tyrannical trio of brothers (Raatha Ravi, Thalaivasal Vijay and Shaji Khan) who are over-protective of their little sister and take an irrational dislike to Jeeva. They show hostility towards Jeeva and conflicts arise within the households and the couple decides to elope, they go to Kesavan’s Hometown and Manivannan refuge them before the Proposed Wedding. Jeeva tries to convince his mother one last time and in vain. On the day of the wedding both realize they miss their families. They decide to return home, relinquishing their feelings, and the families are happy and take them back. Jeeva’s Mom wants to see Mini so that she can get a better wife for his son goes to meet Mini. Initially reluctant to welcome them, the brothers hesitate, but their mother is welcomes them, ultimately their families accept their love, and they are reunited.

The Harikrishnans (Mammootty and Mohanlal) are one of the most famous lawyer duos in India. To avoid confusion one is called as Hari (Mammooty) and the other as Krishnan (Mohanlal). They head the organization called Harikrishnan Associates, which consists of around 300 lawyers. They get engaged in a murder case of Guptan, who was allegedly killed by Gabriel. Gabriel is a friend of Hari's sister and Harikrishnans become the defense lawyers upon her request. Harikrishnans begin investigation and come across Meera (Juhi Chawla), a friend of Guptan. Both of them fall in love with her. After some trouble over the matter, they rediscover their friendship and get involved in the case again. They discover that Guptan actually died due to poisoning by his relatives who were doctors. At the end Meera decides to go for a random method of choosing her lover as she liked both Harikrishnans equally. Two different climaxes of the film show either of Harikrishnans winning the toss for being Meera's friend; the losing person presumably becoming Meera's lover.
