This short documentary chronicles the difficulties encountered by the crew and cast while filming The Comedians on location in Africa's Dahomey (since renamed the Republic of Benin). Author Graham Greene and director Peter Glenville appear in the film, as do actors Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, Alec Guinness, Peter Ustinov, Georg Stanford Brown, Roscoe Lee Browne, Paul Ford, Lillian Gish, James Earl Jones and Raymond St. Jacques.
The Wild, Wild World of Jayne Mansfield began production in 1964 and continued shooting sporadically through 1967 as the budget was limited. The film consists of Mansfield visiting various locations throughout Europe and the United States.
The film is divided into three sections. The first section deals with early silent film works of Laurel and Hardy prior to the two becoming a team as well as their later work as a team. The second section deals with the career of Charlie Chase. The third section deals with Buster Keaton, The film is a compilation of excerpts from some of these actor's more notable projects.

Each bit in an action setpiece in an imaginary movie are demonstrated how they are created, then put together to demonstrate how they will look in the completed feature film. Action includes unarmed combat, gunfights, the pyrotechnics of an electrocution scene, and a car and motorcycle chase.
