Deepika Chikhalia (born 29 April 1965) is an Indian actress who rose to fame playing Sita in Ramanand Sagar's hit television series Ramayan and was known for acting in other mythological TV serials.She was also known for her successful debut film Sun Meri Laila(1983) opposite Raj Kiran and 3 Hindi films with Rajesh Khanna, one Malayalam film Ithile Iniyum Varu(1986) with Mammootty,one Kannada hit film Hosa Jeevana(1990), one Tamil hit film Nangal(1992) with Prabhu, one Bengali hit film Asha O Balobasha(1989) opposite Prosenjit Chatterjee.
She is married to Hemant Topiwala, owner of Shingar Bindi and Tips and Toes cosmetics. They have two daughters, Nidhi Topiwala & Juhi Topiwala

Veera Shankar (Aryan Rajesh) falls in love with Arti (Divya) at the first sight. But he is supposed to marry the daughter of a Rayalaseema factionist Bakka Reddy (Kondavalasa). Bakkanna summons goon to finish off Arti. Veera Shankar travels to Bangkok for a bit of fresh air. He stays in a hotel owned by Telugu people. There he finds a flurry of interrelated weird incidents happening around him. And all of these incidents are somehow connected to Veera Shankar. The rest of the film is all about how these weird Telugu characters find solace.

The age difference between the handsome director and the actress is above 20. It has been the wish of Raj Anand since years that his son Varun should become an actor and that his debut film will be directed by Raj Anand himself. But Varun dislikes acting and therefore Raj persuades Varun to take up acting as a profession. During the making of the debut film of Varun, Sakhi and Varun both fall in love with each other. Reading the rumors an affair between Raj Anand and Sakhi disturbs Varun, but Padmini has strong faith in her husband and is very confident that her husband does not have any affair with his find and thus their relation remains strong as ever. Padmini gives roses to her husband daily as a ritual whenever Raj leaves for shooting location from home. So the couple's relation never gets spoiled. But after getting to know that his son Varun wants to marry Sakhi, Raj Anand stops the shooting of the film Nagar Vadhu. Its then that Varun comes to believe that his father has been having an illicit relationship with Sakhi for years now and this results in misunderstandings between the father-son duo.Rest of the story is about what happens to Raj and Varun's relation and whether Sakhi and Varun ever get together and how Raj Anand's career and life and the making of the debut film gets affected due to all these incidents.

Keerthi (Prabhu), an honest police officer, is charged to solve a double murder case. Keerthi faces up to another police officer Naveen Kumar (Captain Raju). Naveen Kumar who hungers for a promotion wants to take charge of this affair. Keerthi and Naveen Kumar finally fight, and the matter is taken up in court. Keerthi hires the lawyer Chaturvedi (Sivaji Ganesan), a senior lawyer who has never lost a case. Later, Chaturvedi has a heart attack and is taken care by the doctor Mona. He really likes the way she took care of him and he now considered her like his own daughter. The doctors Rajasekhar (Sarath Babu) and Mona (Deepika Chikhalia) suspect the hospital running by the doctor Johnson (Nassar) for doing illegal activities. Rajasekhar is later killed by someone, the presumed guilty is Mona according to the fingerprint on the murder weapon. Keerthi and Chaturvedi come to her rescue.

Chamanlal, Aatmaram were partners with Jamuna Das and Babubhai but Atmaram discovers that the core business is selling women abroad for prostitution, he breaks away from this partnership and tells the wife of Chamanlal. Chamanlal's wife confronts him but Chamanlal is steadfast and decides not to leave the business. In an extreme reaction his wife leaves the house along-with her son and clothes to start a living on her own. Chamanlal keeps thinking about this matter and decides to meet his other two partners to convey he feels this business is unethical and that he cares for his family's sentiments more and asks for his final share before parting ways. But because of a conspiracy masterminded by his wicked business partners (Kiran Kumar and Sadashiv Amrapurkar), Chamanlal presumes he killed Babubhai(Kiran Kumar) and the prime witness to this supposedly murder - Vakil Jamuna Das(Sadashiv Amarpurkar), asks Chamanlal to flee but at the same time informs the police to search for him. Chamanlal searches for his wife and son but cannot locate them and so informs Atmaram that now he has reformed and that he needs to search for his son and wife who have left him.He also tells Atmaram that he is innocent and wants to escape. Meanwhile after reading in newspapers about police searching for Chamanlal and that Chamanalal has died in an accident, his wife considers herself a widower and brings up her only child by tailoring.

Kumar(Rajesh Khanna) is a very wealthy businessman and lives a comfortable lifestyle with his lovely wife, Asha (Deepika), in a palatial house. The only thing missing from their lives is a son. When Asha gets pregnant, Kumar knows that all his dreams will be fulfilled and his business will be known as "Kumar & Son". Unfortunately, Asha has a miscarriage which results in her death as well as in the death of their son. A devastated Kumar takes to alcohol and devotes his energy and finances to a school for needy children in scenic Mussoorie. It is here he gets to meet the College Principal's daughter, Kiran( Neelam), who he knows is in love with a fellow-collegian, Ravi(Chunkey Pandey). When Ravi takes part in the annual car rally, his vehicle is sabotaged and he is reportedly killed. But the College principal(Om Shivpuri) comes to know that his daughter is pregnant with Ravi's child and when this comes to notice to Kumar, he agrees to lend his own name to the unborn child. Kiran marries Kumar and they lead a happy married life, though Kumar never had physical relation with Kiran. A boy child is born and Kumar gives the kid so much love that the boy is more affectionate to Kumar than his mother. Meanwhile Ravi survives and with the help of his parents (Shafi Inamdaar) wants to return to Mussoorie. Before that could happen, Kiran's father tells them that Kiran is no more, throwing Ravi into a relapse. Months later Ravi does recover, but refuses to get married. Then five years later he finds out that there is going to be another car rally there and despite of his parents' objections, he travels to Mussoorie and this is where he will find out that Kiran is still alive and even has a son, and her husband is none other than the wealthy widower - Kumar. Ravi must now find out why Kiran's father lied to him, and whether or not Kiran wanted to marry Kumar because of his wealth.Kumar's life is drastically changes once Ravi makes a reentry to their lives.
