Shyama (Suraiya) gets a job as a servant so she can pay for her younger sister, Kiran's (Geeta Bali) education in the city. Kiran, though, is in love with a rogue, Ajit (Pran). Ajit makes Kiran splurge all the money Shyama sends her on them. Meanwhile, Shyama meets and falls in love with Shyam (Rehman), the son of the family she works for and who is a doctor who wants to treat the poor. With both of being ill-treated by the woman of the house, who is Shyam's step mother, they decide to elope. However, Kiran comes to her, abandoned and impregnated. Shyama goes along with her without informing Shyam in order to find Ajit. They find Ajit but he escapes from them. The two sisters then relocate to another town. Kiran has the child, Shyama works in another house, where in order to get Kiran settled with the young man of the house and to prove her to be without blemish, she takes it upon herself to claim to be the mother of the child. This causes further complications with Shyam, who has managed to trace her out and now believes that she has been unfaithful to him. Wallowing in grief, he falls ill. Finally, with the help of a kindly army colonel, also Ajit's uncle (Ulhas), all ends well that well with a repentant Ajit marrying Kiran and Shyama reunited with Shyam.

Don, chef d'un gang international, est traqué puis tué par un officier de police, le commissaire D'Silva. Celui-ci décide de ne révéler à personne la mort de Don. Lorsqu'il rencontre Vijay, parfait sosie de Don, il lui propose un marché. Vijay se fera passer pour Don et infiltrera le gang. En retour, D'Silva apportera à Vijay l'aide matérielle qui lui permettra d'élever les deux enfants qu'il a recueillis. Vijay accepte et parvient à berner les complices de Don. Samir Sahni is a farmer living with his mom, dad, wife, Rama, a young daughter, and his younger brother, Veer. Samir gets an offer to work in the U.K., and departs accordingly. He would like to settle there, and after doing so, would like his family to also join him. The years go by, and Samir keeps in touch with his family regularly. Then the Sahni family stop receiving any letters from him, and are anxious to know what has happened to him. Veer is asked to travel to U.K. to find out, and he does so. What he finds are tens of thousands of East Indians on fake passports, working for less than minimum wages, poor unhealthy conditions, fear of being deported, and paying half of their earnings to fellow East Indians who had got them here through the underground. Veer finds no sign of his brother, and sets out to investigate, only to find deceit, murder, and his very own life in danger.

During a jail riot instigated by jailed convict Jaggu (Joginder), the Jailer, Arun Mehra's (Dev Anand) life is threatened, and another convict Dinesh (Satish Kaul), risks his life to save Arun. Arun and his mom, Mrs. Mehra (Sulochana) find out that Dinesh is on death-row for killing noted Professor Ashok Verma. Arun does not believe that Dinesh is guilty, and so he arranges his escape and as a result he has not only the police, including his very own dad, Inspector General of Police Mehra (Pran) after him on a manhunt, but also underworld don Master (Ajit Khan) and his men; and a cold-hearted female assassin (Zeenat Aman) who has reserved just two bullets in her gun for Arun and Dinesh. All songs, which are popular even today, are penned by Anand Bakshi.
Mere Sajna (1975)

Ratan (Navin Nischol) is a criminal working for Master (Ajit) and his wife Sona (Helen Jairag Richardson). He goes home to his mother's funeral and meets with his childhood friend Kammo (Raakhee), who is mentally incompetent. Her wealthy father arranges her marriage to Ratan, with the hope that she will become normal after marriage. Initially, Sona is disappointed that Ratan will marry, as she has a crush on him. But once it becomes clear, that Ratan wants to marry Kammo for her money, both she and the Master fully support it. They also encourage Ratan to kill Kammo soon after marriage. Ratan starts caring about Kammo and she becomes more normal. Ratan wants to break free of Master and Sona, but they won't let him. Master's henchmen kidnap Kammo and Ratan rescues her, and Master dies in the climatic fight.
